For such a small park this is rather impressive. Although the type of tower doesn't look the best, Paultons is a family park.

This ride looks pretty good for a park this size.
Going back to the point of ride like Th13teen suiting the park I agree, but does anyone know how much verbolten cost because it's zierer and they will be cheaper than Intamin.

Paultons did get a lot of money from peppy pig world and they'll probably pull in some doe with this, so we could see a medium scale coaster coming soon.
I used to think I knew a lot about coasters, but then I joined this forum.

Hi All, was'nt sure weather to do another topic or not, but thought I would stick this in here, Went to Paultons about a week ago for my annual visit to check out Magma,Overall its not a bad little ride, and seems to fit in well to the now thrill section of the park with Cobra and Edge, In 2013, Paultons is getting a 4D Cinema,New Admission Kiosks plus other improvements,Check out my update, enjoy

With the recent announcement of a new major expansion for 2016, i did some research and found some interesting things on Screamscape.
As for the expansion in 2016

This is really going to be interesting to watch develop as its my local park.
Critter Creek is opening this year. The new Critter Creek area will feature a lot of interesting and brightly colored theming from what I’m told. This will include lots of new theming along the Cat-O-Pillar coaster course, including a group of animatronic Dandi Lions singing. “There lots of mixed up animals in critter Creek such as a squirrel and a worm or a pigeon and a squid or a bumble and a beaver. There a brand new Rio Grand train ride from Zamperla. And the old Wind in the Willows walk through is now an animal encounter with real strange creatures like bugs, iguana, shrimp and locust. The area is full of psychodelic colours.”

Also attached was a link to a tweet.I’ve got a little more information to share about Paultons Park’s new coaster projects for The Lost Kingdom, which will be dinosaur themed. For starters the Vekoma Junior Suspended coaster will be named Pterosaurs Flight and will be nearly identical to Kvasten at Gronalund. Meanwhile the new Junior Boomerang will be called Raptor standing 21.5 meters tall and feature a custom layout with the spikes on opposite sides of the ride, pointing in opposing directions. Both coasters will be heavily themed to fit into a Dinosaur themed landscape, with both rides said to feature animatronics and tunnels along the way

This is exciting news for Paultons. Ever since Pepper Pig World this park has been going from strength to strength. Hope they keep it up.

The thrill seeker highlight of The Lost Kingdom will be not one but TWO new rollercoasters. Raptor is a custom Family Boomerang coaster. Flight of the Pterosaur is Suspended Family Coaster also from Vekoma. Both coasters will be heavily themed with tunnels and foot/headchoppers.Eirdy wrote:Is that... it cant be.... I went here last year for my little girl 2nd birthday and thought it was a very good park and I had more fun here then I did at Alton Towers last year.
