The ride is Die Vliegende Hollander at Efteling, a water coaster from Kumbak Coasters.
Amazing theming. Crap coaster.
Well worth a ride, though.

Says someting when Intamin are required to fix Kumbaks mistakes :P but thats another topic.
Does indeed look like a nice coaster, i think things like this prove that we need more competition in this country to get the big boys to build stuff like this

Well... you see - Heide Park put in a kiddie coaster in 2008. Heide Park being Merlin, of course. See image a few posts up of their efforts.
Then compare to this, which is down the road.

For some things there is no rational explanation. There is no way out. There is no happy ending to this story. Welcome to the unknown. Welcome to eternal darkness.
Welcome to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Ride
Welcome to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - The Ride
The coaster is currently not complete, they are six weeks behind and barely any internal theming has taken place yet, although most, but not all, external work is done. We rode yesterday, but it was quite literally IKEA the ride - never done a a building site coaster before now!!
It will be amazing for what it Is once it opens... Novgorod for kids!

Hansa Park have an old boat-ride apparently, called the Super-Splash:
Someone on CF has posted about the upgrade the ride will be receiving this year:
The park have also installed a very high-quality streaming live webcam! One of the best I've seen: http://www.hansapark.de/de/startseite
I love to see some large-scale plussing!

ECG on CF wrote:Hansa Park has announced that their Super Splash ride (a guest favorite) will be undergoing major construction throughout the year to add a theme to the ride. The ride itself is not scheduled to be closed at any time due to the construction.
Construction will begin with a fake rock cliff around the end brake run area. The end result after construction will have the boats drop through a 'historic' shipwreck into the sea. Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
The park is also adding a jungle kiddie playground for all those under 1.4 meters called Tahiti–Trail. It's themed around the travels of Georg Forster, the German ethnologist who at an early age accompanied his father on several scientific expeditions, including James Cook's second voyage to the Pacific.
An indoor themed kiddie play area will also open this summer called Das Reich der Trolle (Empire of the Trolls) in the HANSE in EUROPA section of the park. The theme will be set around the Norwegian stories & myths of the little mountain dwellers.

Very good to see them plussing a really bland and generic ride, hopefully this sort of thing continues throughout the park and it might become a fairly decent player in the German market in the future...

I'm not sure how long details for this ride, have been released for, however I've just discovered that Hansa Park are planning on opening a Gerstlauer hypercoaster in 2015 called 'The Oath of KÄRNAN – Beware of its Spell!'.

There is a minisite here for the ride, which contains some quite interesting information about it. Perhaps of most interest is that the ride will have trains similar to The Smiler's but will have lap bars instead of OTSR. Also, although the ride will open next year, the 'full story and theming' will not be introduced until 2016, for reasons which I'm unaware of.
Furthermore there is also rumour of a world's first, where the train will enter a gondola which reaches the required hypercoaster height, which will then freefall down to around 20-30 metres above the ground where the train will then go round a normal rollercoaster track. However, I think that would create a lot of controversy surrounding the claim of it being a hypercoaster.
Nonetheless, I'm interested to see what Gerstlauer come up with for their first 'hypercoaster' and I think it will be a 2015/2016 project to watch.

Nice find Lewis, always nice to have a new project to watch and this one looks like having one or two twists.

So further details have been released:
What I can only assume is a Piledriver has arrived on site, as construction for the ride gets underway.

Some things to consider are whether the 'vertical first drop' is like Oblivion's or if it's referring to the rumoured Th13teen-style drop. Also, once we know how many piles will support the lift we should be able to figure out how tall this coaster will actually be.KÄRNAN will not feature an inclined lift, but a vertical lift
KÄRNAN will feature a vertical first drop.
KÄRNAN’s tower will be founded on piles that combined have a length of about 1.8km

Looking at the concept art I would imagine the drop itself will be vertical as oppose to a Thirteen type free-fall drop. I say this due to the extreme gradient of the first drop shown in the concept art which seems to be hinting at a normal oblivion style drop. On a separate note this project seems to have lots of potential and I will look forward to seeing progress in the near future.
EDIT: The concept art actually seems to show the vertical track element as a hill however the concept image could just be showing different parts of the layout in the wrong order therefore I feel my above prediction could still be correct

This is interesting! From the concept above, it looks like the track comes out the bottom of the tower and up a large hill into a turn.. This would work with a vertical drop like oblivions yet surely if it was thirteen style it wouldn't have any speed to come out the bottom?

According to the Hansa Park website this is going to be a Hyper Coaster with both a veritcal lift and a vertical first (word that doesn't translate overly brilliant). it is also going to have 16 passenger trains with lap bars.
