The Daily Mail reports "Lightwater Valley is one of the most dangerous parks in the UK. With 5 B&M's and 2 death-trap, I mean 2 Intamin coasters this park surely deserves to be closed down as soon as possible. In the last 2 years 2000 people have died at the hands of Slammer, the Parks main ride which is a B&M Floorless coaster. It has 12 loops and has bought upset to millions of people in the UK"

Edit - Sarah-TTF
Please read! The *quote* above is not a quote from the Daily Mail newspaper, the user simply did this as a joke.

Thanks, Sarah

I don't think it's a clever idea to 'quote' from a newspaper like that Fury, it can actually be considered slander.

If you're going to put your ideas across - do them in a way that can be clearly understood, and don't disguise such sarcastic comments as someone else's

I have edited your post to avoid future confusion...

Thanks muchly,
Sarah

Problem is, what I said is completely obvious that its a joke. I doubt any writer in the Daily mail knows what a B&M is anyway. Im sorry for any offence caused but at the end of the day the 'quote' was meant in jest.

does anyone know if the 'Orbiter' is the model thats going to Loudoun Castle in scotland, I know loudoun is getting one of those rides for this season. Loudoun is owned by Bembom Rides.

Orbitor was great like a big green bogey the first ride you saw as you entered the park :!:

Orbiter was the Schwarzcopf "Apollo" ride that was owned by Bemboms, put in margate with pods going up the side, then changed toa chair o planes type thing, painted orange called The Heatwave, then painted green again to Lightwater

I imagine thats theone going to Loudoun

Pretty bland ride, it was better with the pods on the side

Someone on ATA said the octopus ride will be a Topple Tower.

If thats true then all they need is a brand new coaster and it would be a top park to visit again.
