The new drop tower is top loading so must me a brand new one, the boat ride is a different layout so would be a new one. Vengeance could be moved, I believe it is in the "turning room" as they put it. Would be interesting to see of this actually comes to fruition.

its such a scam. my thinking is that they are planning on making it so you have to buy a ticket for all 3 attractions. so you are forced to go to all three. it would mean more money in their pocket and more visitors expereincing all three attractions

Sam, I think it was your website that first alerted me to this. Really good spot and thanks for sharing.SamJ wrote: hey guys
just found these planning documents by merlin, there are concepts for the entrance proving its a dungeons. The noise statement also says relocation of the current dungeons :P
here is my article: http://xplorercentral.co.uk/?p=452
and the planning site : http://planning.lambeth.gov.uk/online-a ... MTDBOHV000
All photos and information belong to the planning website and Merlin. sounds a bit weird but all 3 rides look like they will be in the relocated attraction, with a new Guy Fawkes scene. Dont know when the move is planned or why merlin want to consider it.
Just to clarify a couple things here:
This is a relocation, that means the old site with cease to exist. The documents state that all staff jobs will be transferred. They also cite the reason for the move as being Network Rail's plans to redevelop London Bridge station and the surrounding area. I think that's a bit of a smokescreen as they will be able to see the benefit of having a cluster of three of their attractions side by side for multi-selling admission.
The boat ride is going to be the same system. The plans show a picture of the old boat. They have made it shorter though, I think this will increase throughput.

Vengeance and Extremis strike me as rides that would be relatively easy and cheap to move. Traitor not so much, but nobody likes the ride so I don't think they'd care if they lost it.
Very odd, very very odd.

The current location of the Dungeons isn't great - it's a little bit off the beaten track for tourists (although it is right by the station - it's not an attraction people walk past) and the pavements outside get very overcrowded from the queues. However, the current site suits the nature of the attraction really well.

I personally think this is great news! Cus it could mean a new start or new generation of dungeons! More modern more high tech sets and effects. I have seen the plans and to be honest, it looks better than it is now! The entrance looks more attracting to the GP and plus it is by other merlin attractions.
The boat ride looks more shorter and I think that is a good thing. Plus THERE IS A VERTICAL LIFT! More modern like I said at the start!
The drop ride boarding at the top makes the experience more realistic as the people got hung at the top of the gallon. And the floor doesn't go down with the ride like Sub-Terra, same or more force!
The new shows could be interesting the Guy Fawkes show room is pretty big!
The rooms look more small so the audience can get closer into the action!
Overall, this could turn out to be a start of something new!
BRILLIANT!

Having looked at the plans in some detail - I can only say this is absolutely amazing and a complete shock!
All we need now in Tussaudes to move to Southbank!
It'll be a great chance for the Dungeon to become, ironically, more 21st century and rival Blackpool's technology. The lack of being away from a train track will be good too - purely for sound issues and the fact the the trains' movement caused lights to go out of alignment as well as speakers and set pieces.
I support this move!
Wonder how long the build will take?

If this happens, I think it is a good decision. Although it is odd that Vengeance isn't mentioned in the plans

Turning Room, I thought that after someone suggested it on CoasterForce I think it was, but it isn't going to house Vengeance.
The noise report states that it's a walkthrough room and no noise was measured from there. If it were to house Vengeance, it certainly would be relevant to the noise report, as anyone that has experienced the ride will tell you!
It does seem strange that it isn't going to be relocated, but perhaps it is just too noisy.

It's had some technical issues though hasn't it? Maybe they decided it wasn't worth it anymore.
