Maybe this is another Nemesis spinoff ride. I mean, they have got rid of the Fungle Safari, and there may be a new ride in 2013, so maybe it will be a flat ride linked to Nemesis Inferno?

I expect we're going to see some kind of thrill/scare attraction similar to the Saw alive attraction that will enhance the marketing and attendance figures for the swarm.

Expect science/military research facility. Something similar to sub terra.

Something that was mooted here and there during South Meet (and I honestly don't know whether this is complete conjecture, or whether there's some substance behind it, and nor do I know where it originated...) was the idea that Vengeance from the London Dungeons may well be relocated to Thorpe next year, to the old 4D theatre. Could quite easily be nonsense, but if not, what do people think?

Strikes me that the two attractions are very close geographically, and have similar target markets, so I would imagine a large number of visitors to Thorpe would know that it was 'second-hand' from the Dungeons, and I don't know how they'd react to that.

I would imagen the public wouldn't notice too much if that was the case. Just put some new theming, effects, a bankstory and a few actors in place. Enthusiasts on the otherhand would notice. It depends on how its pulled off really, I don't mind too much as long as its a good ride/experiance. I wouldn't want to see "Nemesis inferno sun-terra" Say.

I've also heard that from a source, so seems quite likely to me (but idiotic).

It would be a good idea for a low investment year, but I'd expect something bigish either before or after it though.

It's definitely a viable suggestion though. There's no way they would just scrap a brand new ride hardware a few years after its opening, and yet the new dungeons have no plans for it at this time. The time frame fits perfectly too, as they can fit it over the closed season, and not have any disruptions at either attractions, it also means they can keep it a secret for a long time without spilling the beans with planning permissions. And lets not forget they've already done the same with Storm Surge, so we know they'd rather relocate even over a long distance than buy in something new where possible, only this time the ride hardware is actually half decent.

The park is in dire need of more indoor rides and I think this would be just perfect for a low investment year.

That would be interesting to put Vengeance in the 4D cinema but what would they theme it too? I feel it would fit in the building well though. I'd be very up for the idea of a Sub Terra 2.0 at Thorpe - but not an expansion on the Nemesis theme please - after all the updates and upgrades to Sub Terra and the reviews on here it sounds like a really solid attraction. They need to get rid of SAW Alive though, it's a waste of space in my personal opinion.

Do we know what the ceiling height is for the future flats?

I always felt a 4th Dimension Coaster, would suit the area once occupied by the Fungle Safari. There cheap, small and provide enough thrills to bring in the punters. (A 4th Dimension Coaster, are coasters like Inferno at Terra Mitica)
Its not the most spectacular of attractions, but I think its a good supporting coaster, that does look intimidating, and would fit very nicely into that space!

ZacSpin's are interesting - though I'm not sure if it's something Thorpe would go for.

In terms of the vengeance hardware relocation, those that have been on it, what did they think?

And more importantly, what sort of throughput does it achieve?
If you go down to the Towers today, you\'d better ride Th13teen. :P

I think it would look awesome near SWARM and it could be set in a rubbled building, the amount of near misses could be astonishing!

Where was this found? And one quick thing, are they getting a hotel for 2013? Or is this just rumours?
It was found here: http://www.totalthorpepark.co.uk/featur ... warm.shtml from the marketing photo near the top! :)

It would be cool if they had the origins of the Swarm invasion prequel ride however it could be just like Sub Terra No. 2. The hotel has had several plans handed in to the Council, not sure if it's going ahead though.

I'm fairly certain that Thorpe wouldn't get two wing-style coasters in a very close time span, whether they're fourth dimension or not. It just wouldn't be a good idea, in my opinion. :)

I've never been on a 4-D coaster (simply because they're aren't many around at the mo) but the only one I know of and one of he most prolific is X2 at Six Flags. I agree it looks a lot like The Swarm and anyway it couldn't be added to the park until 2015 at the very, very earliest.

But give 5-10 years the world will be swarming (pardon the pun) with 4D's :D

You do realise that when jackgcse said 4D he meant an Intamin ZacSpin?

While technically classed as 4D coaster I've always thought of them more like tracked flat rides. I think one of these would be great at Thorpe Park as long as it isn't their 2015 coaster (I'd expect something more dynamic for that)

I don't think any 4-D rides will be making their way to Thorpe in 2015. Unless it was their plan from the start, they wouldn't start planning a large 4-D coaste for 2 1/2 years' time

I actually think they could, because, yes they are similar, however they are totally different in respect. And as already said, they are cheap and would fit within Thorpe, and also as Nightfall said, I feel that its not really a coaster but more of a flat ride!
However I highly doubt something like this would actually end up being the 2013 attraction. However I could see something like this making an appearance within the Fungle Safari area!
