My favourite dark ride in the UK would probably be Valhalla, second is Hex.

One of my favourite dark rides isn't dark at all, and sadly is no longer with us. JAWS at Universal Studios Florida was one of my favourite rides ever. It didn't have a huge budget, or amazing effects. It was simply beautifully crafted, well-acted and simply really well done.

'La Defil De Ceaser' at Park Asterix is my favourite dark rise I have ridden. It's (to me at least) far better than Hex and Villa Volta and each pre-show is interesting, and in some cases even rather beautiful.

The actual mad-house vault is brilliant too, because to be honest, I find they can be rather boring after a few visits. Defil de Ceaser eliminates this problem, with it's screens at the top, and it's great 4D effects.

It is honestly the only ride I have ridden I would consider perfect, I'm so surprised it's not been mentioned already!

Defi de Cesar is awesome, completely random pre-shows but it just fits into the park nicely...

Still prefer Hex though...

Just saw this version of Rock N Rollercoaster at Paris Disneyland:

Do they usually use this much lighting? Cause I am OH SO GLAD that someone finally just used a tonne of light effects on a dark roller coaster. This would probably be my favourite ride if I were able to ride it.

Go to Rock N Roller Coaster Disney World Fl. It's just better. And yes, that much lighting is used. It's awesome.

In POV's it looks dark and rubbish, but it's more interactive than Paris' in my opinion. A corkscrew over palm trees, the train goes through the giant doughnut and the Hollywood signs' O and the music is very loud indeed. And it is right next to the original and best Tower Of Terror, in all it's pink glory!

You will never get a feel for the rock and roller coaster unless your on it. POV on you tube no matter how HD the video is will not do this awesome ride justice.

For re-rideability it has to be up there as one of the best. Some may argue it's a roller coaster not a 'dark ride' but you could have the same arguement about Revenge Of The Mummy........now that is a dark ride! :D
Now's not the time for fear. That comes later.

Yeah you aren't gonna get much of an impression about a mostly physical experience from a dark video at all  :D

Revenge of the Mummy does look really good aswell, even from video.

A shout out for Huntik at Rainbow Magicland, a class ride from start to finish. Another for Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom, scariest dark ride I've been on at least. Hex is the obvious UK one.

And finally The Many adventures of Winnie the Pooh at Magic Kingdom. It appeals to my childish side.
