From UKParkNews
The UK’s scariest attraction will be teaming up with one of the world’s most controversial cult horror films for its most terrifying Halloween ever – featuring a live human centipede.

The London Bridge Experience & London Tombs have teamed up with the director of The Human Centipede – Tom Six – to recreate the terror of the film to give visitors the scare of their life.

As part of the London Bridge-based attraction’s Halloween programme PhoboPhobia ‘After Dark Extreme Scare – The Human Centipede’- will feature sets recreating the horror of the film, including the evil Dr Heiters laboratory, clips from the film and audio as well as the main attraction – a live human centipede.

The Human Centipede film will also be screened but will only be available to a select few and only those booking early via Ticketmaster will get the chance to watch the film.

It features a mad doctor who kidnaps and mutilates a trio of tourists in order to turn them into a human centipede.

The film has a cult following and has become extremely controversial with its sequel – The Human Centipede 2 being banned in Britain and labelled as the ‘sickest movie of all time’.

The film’s Director Tom Six, who visited the attraction recently, said: “I went through the London Tombs and I loved every second of it. The actors really scare the hell out of you and the sets you go through are amazing and could easily compete with the best horror film sets.”

James Kislingbury, General Manger of the London Bridge Experience & London Tombs, said: “This is going to be our scariest Halloween ever, it will be a spectacular event and our scarers will form the live human centipede, they are all so keen to be involved that we have had to hold a ballot.”

‘After Dark Extreme Scare – The Human Centipede’ – Halloween’s Most Hellish Event will be running from 7pm to late from October 27th to 31st.

As well as the ‘After Dark Extreme Scare’ in the London Tombs – during the day visitors will be able to learn the ‘History Behind The Horror’ – exploring 2000 years of London Bridge’s dark Halloween history – travel back in time and be taken on a journey led by first-class actors and stunning special effects.2,

After the London Bridge Experience you will be given the option to descend into the London Tombs – winner of the ‘Best Year Round Scare Attraction’ at the Screamie Awards for the past three years.

A guardian angel tour is also available for younger guests allowing them to experience the tombs in a less scary format for those visiting during the daytime show.

‘History Behind the Horror’ is running from October 17 to November 1 from 10am to 6pm.

Tickets for both events are limited so early booking is essential. Tickets are £23 for adults, £21 concessions – OAPs and Students; £17 for Under 18s – although the age limit for ‘After Dark Extreme Scare – The Human Centipede’ is not recommended for under 16s.

The attraction will also be running the first Halloween Buried Alive Ball at a separate location from October 27 to 29 from 6pm – featuring a visit to the attraction before a meal and dancing.

This isn't scary, it's just sick. Why must people always confuse the two?

Cringeworthily low and just poor to be honest. I'm not offended or disgusted, it just seems to be low and and a poor standard.

I don't know why people are slating this as a "new low" or "sick". Have you all turned into Mary Whitehouse suddenly...? Horror mazes are meant to scare us, so they must keep upping the game as we become desensitised. The idea of a horror maze with the human centipede actually terrifies me, whereas evil clowns or murdering twins doesn't really.

I quite like the idea of this because it does sound absolutely terrifying. Though I feel that actually trying it might be too much. Credit to London Bridge for being innovative and actually trying to do something genuinly horrific rather than the "soft scares" of the likes of Scarefest...

^ Thanks, Sam. Pretty much said exactly what I was planning on saying.

I assume, however, that I'm the only fan of the franchise here? And hence find the concept even more exciting, shame I won't be visiting, but it sounds fantastic! :D

I don't agree. SAW Alive is scary, but this is just gross. The thought of someone having to ingest another person's c**p just leaves me feeling sick.

Which is exactly the point, that's what makes it a horror attraction.

I haven't seen the films yet Dan but I really want to!

I couldn't agree more. The idea of people being forced to eat someone else's c**p is disgusting, and I will definitely not be visiting the London Bridge Experience until it's gone.

I just can't see how they’re going to make this work.

The Human Centipede is a horrific concept but not exactly going to scare you. I haven’t seen the film but I guess it's the idea that makes people feel sick and not the actual imagery. In which case if you go into the attraction having seen the film will there really be anything more that can freak you out?

Either way I see no appeal to visit.

OK, alternatives:

Boring, crap, unimaginative, controversial band-wagon jumping, ineffective, desperate, dodgy, low budget, crude, winceworthy, embarrassing...

You can also guarantee it's also going to be quite cheesily re-created. As for those that aren't familiar with the film's plot, it involves having someone's mouth attached to another one's anus.

... A live human centipede.
How is that legal!

I think it shows that they are a little uncreative I mean they can't think of their own scares and have to rely on something like this? Yeah it's ok but it won't bring people back.

:P

Sick people, whoever thought it'd be good to bring this to the Bridge Experience. Honestly, they could do so much better....

I love the outrage here. The same kind of people as you lot were outraged by Psycho in the 1960s. A woman murdered in the shower on screen! Her body dumped in a lake! It's sick and disgusting!

As we become less easily scared, horror must evolve to catch up. We don't find women being murdered in showers the absolute heights of terror anymore. But I bet a 1960s audience felt the same way about that as we feel about the human centipede. Horror is meant to make us feel sick and disgusted, that's kinda the point...?

Anyway, it's nothing compared to "A Serbian Film"...

Is it strange that when ever I think of human centipede... This song pops into my head? :P

As much as I despise the human centipede, I don't have any complaints about this, scaremazes like this are meant to scare the 5h!t out of people, and this will definatly do just that. I definatly won't be doing this, but lots of people will, THC is a name which horror enthusiasts will see, and want to do because of the name.

As long as it doesn't feature the "sandpaper" scene from the 2nd film. :P
