Here's a coaster located in a Pizza Restraunt.
notice in the above photo, there's also a frog hopper in the background
view of the arcade
another view of the arcade
the coaster's name is Adventure Express and is located in Riverside, California and there is another one located in Roseville, California.

Anyone heard of a ride called Nemesis at Alton Towers?
I always thought that Nemesis was such a weird coaster! Especially for a B&M Invert, they're normally very tall with large drops! But suppose that what makes Nemesis so great

I used to think I knew a lot about coasters, but then I joined this forum.
Nemesis does have a fairly large drop, its just that you don't notice it when falling down the side of a cliff into the deep pit.
Over 100 foot in total isn't it?
Just don't notice it because it's so gradual and in 'stages'.

Sorry for going back a while, only just had a flick through this topic and saw the mention of Giovanola. I was lucky enough to go out to SA with work, and had a couple of visits to Gold Reef City. Anaconda is an excellent ride, very similar ride to a good B&M, and interestingly only 2 people wide trains.SpinballEdders wrote: It may not be the strangest coaster, but take a look at this:
it looks like a B&M invert, but it isn't this a giovanola invert called Anaconda at Gold Reef City in South Africa
For anyone interested I've some photos from the park on my facebook https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.467586571412.263181.590101412&type=3&l=71510b97be
As for strange coasters, the parks "home-made" dive machine "Tower Of Terror" http://www.rcdb.com/1481.htm is worth a mention as it was originally a lap bar ride with 45Deg lift hill, which they converted to a high speed lift and OTSRs.
Very interesting, Muttlee. It's great to know that the ride is justas good as a B&M. Hopefully if I go to South Africa one day, I'll ride it.
now for coaster that may have the weirdest restriction ever:
And you thought X:/WTF had a terrible restriction! :P
this is "looping" at Hili Fun City in UAE; the coaster is a Pinfari preZyklon T59. the coaster closed in 2010.

Ahhh yes, I remember stumbling on that one once on RCDB :P
Men could ride it, they just used a different entrance. I'd imagine it's probably something to do with the culture in the area. I dunno about Dubai, but there are quite a few countries in that area where women are treated very differently :P
The parks other two coasters have a similar policy, with men and families using one entrance, and ladies the other.

Here's the restrictions on the other two coasters Bote was talking about:
Hili Mouse; A Big Apple style coaster themed to a Mouse.
and Twister Mountain; A Zamperla Wild Mouse:
