Yea the Pirate one would be sweet in Munity Bay but not on the flume lake as i think something alot better could go their like a newer flume a bit like the one at Legoland. Next to heave ho would look cool. I also think Heave Ho would look better if it had water in front of it.

I think at the moment Heave Ho looks plonked in place, so that would look cool. As for the Pirate Plunge - that would add some great family variety to the area.

why do all S&S videos look AND sound like they're pulled from the 80s?

anyway Eagle Coaster, don't like it, I doubt it would work really. Pirate plunge is alright too...

Don't really have much enthusiasm for S&S no idea why.

Yeah the eagle coaster looks good, but ride experience wise, it doesnt really do it for me. Still a decent find though.

I wasn’t to keen on eagle coaster, until it sowed the POV, then I got a feeling for what it might be like to ride. I think it will give a good ride, although not intense, it is something very different and I think it could be fun just the way you will be pushed further up in the air as the track tilts, but remain going to a fast pace, if you know what I mean.

Eagle Coaster looks kinda boring, after the first ride. Like Air, once the novelty wears off, theres nothing less.

And Pirates Plunge is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. It looks like heavy machinery in a factory more than a kids ride. Too angular.

the pirates plunge looks fun indeed for small kids alton should have a look at one or even flamingoland get one and suit it to their park.

In the Last Days i find pictures from a S&S Freefall Tower Prototype.
It looks awesome and i think it dont goes to a Themepark.
But on the S&S Test Area its possible to ride it.

I think this got demolished because they established it was too big for anywhere to want it. Wasn't it like 500 feet or something.

Indeed it was and the fact it had no breaks, well no really friction or magnetic breaks that is.

It works by compressed air being forced down the tube when the capsule enters slowing it to an eventual halt. It's been at S&S's testing site for a few years now as we badly wanted to ride it.

It's no wonder it wasn't sold really, it's not ascetically pleasing really and it's got no real breaking system so parks- I doubt -would take i on.

They already make rockets though, which accelerate faster than anything Intamin do. The Nurburg ring coasters is S&S and will launch 0 − 134.8 mph in 2.5 seconds.

Besides, it's a free fall drop devoid of any launch capabilities.

So basically to break it lands on some air? XD I'd hate to think what would happen if there was a leak.

Came across this new type of coaster from S&S called a "Free Fly"

The riders are suspended on either side of the track and the cars can swing freely as the train rolls round the track.

It doesnt look very thrilling but what I did find interesting is that the track can do in-line twists while the riders are never turned upside down.

There has only been one built so far and is called "Tranan" at Skara Sommarland in Sweden.

oh and if anyone knows anything about this ride could you tell me how the restraints work? Because I cant see any! lol.

The restrains are just seatbelts by looking at the pictures. (they are difficult to see but are there)

I like it, yes its a gimmick but it looks pretty cool. Could work well in small-medium sized parks.

Of course, its another crazy S&S design.

A well thought out, well structured response there.

I personally think they're great fun & innovative also rather cheap to install. A great family coaster which I think they will sell quite a few of.

I remember this. Didn't realise that it had opened already! I think it looks pretty cool - something different at least.

The restraints on this ride don't look anywhere near substantial enough. I'm sure I read about the seat belts popping open mid-ride during the first week of operation.
While it looks like an interesting concept, I think the cars? could do with being a little more substantial before more of these get built.
