Anyone else getting quite irritated by the constant plugs for 'Yo Chessington' ?
Ah well, you can't blame them for trying - the site does have lots of potential imo.

Sorry if you don't like it, but I thought this news would be of value to the chessington fans.

Oh it definitely is, and thanks for bringing it over here!

Having said that, it'd be very easy to do so without the need to link to your site. After all, that last thing about Vampire pretty much just consisted of a photo, which can easily be posted here without the link. In fact, can't see that many things other than whole galleries of photos require a link ;)

Heading back on-topic, what exactly is that 'Vampire XXI' thing? Looks like some kind of three-week event in April surrounding out favourite suspended Arrow hybrid... they talk about some kind of interactive experience. Sounds really rather interesting... ideas?

I really love all the rubber ducklings and the quacking and all. It makes me so happy just thinking about it. It's nice to see some improvements made yes, but I'm glad it's remaining as a soapy, bath-time bubble-fest. Just how I have grown to love it.

(If only they can get rid of the piss smell on the latter half of the station queueline bridge, then I'll be pleased to say bye bye to Imperial Leather). :P

The new smell machines might help with this ;)

By the way, heres some pictures of the zoo days maps:

Also spoke to a few of the parks managers today, looks like a great future for the park! :) They are helping us with the content for the site

Damn them for putting the effort in to actually bringing us news about our favourite theme parks! I hate it when people do that!

^They may well be getting news, but there's definitely ways of doing it without making each post a plug...

For example, as said, why link to the site when they could've just posted the pic of the Vampire poster on here?

Why call photos any guest can grab 'exclusive'?

Needs more content per post tbh, not just "OMG look at the shiny link"...

Think this has somehow been lost under the last few posts:

Seriously, am I the only one who's finding this particular picture rather intriguing and exciting? I'm very curious to know what this (presumably temporary but) new 'interactive dark walkthrough' is, especially given it's in April (so not Hocus Pocus related, and presumably indoors as park close is 6pm)...

Think I'll be heading down to check that out, I'd visit Chessington far more often if the train didn't take so long

Sounds interesting. Weird time to celebrate. 21 years of vampire, 21 days of celebrations.. vampire style.

Sounds mad, but interesting. I want.

Black forest haunt most likely, but it'll still be fun to go to...
Vampire queue improvements, old entrance possibly being used. The old rodeo cowboy has been re-themed into a skeleton and is now in the vampire queue line (photos soon!). New interactive attraction to celebrate its 21st year during April.

Highly doubt the old entrance will be used.

The rodeo horse looks amazing though, infact it's bordering on scary.. Freaks me out, and i'm not exactly vampire's target audience ;). They spent a fair bit of money on it!

Really nice that we won't have to see that wasted peice of theming just sitting in the trees anymore :o

Can you not embed videos on here? Zafari -

I agree the Vampire horse does look amazing. Will be interesting to see what else has been done :)
If you go down to the Towers today, you\'d better ride Th13teen. :P

Wow, the Vampire queue really is getting a fair bit of attention these past couple of years! Also becoming a bit of a dumping ground for old theming, though* - first Abdab, now the Rodeo horse... I predict Denis and Nasher next year, with Professor Burp or Zapomatic in 2013! :P

* - It's definitely done in a great way, though...
monsterdan5

Lol, I think they really need to get some speakers around the queue line and have some spooky music playing, as there is currently very little atmosphere.

We are still yet to see the poor rusted Zappomatic clone whom lives in the depths of Chessington... Professor Burp meanwhile, I believe he's too busy laughing at the fate befalling his enemy, Abdab, from the first floor of Mexican Cantina...

Chessington is seriously on the up at the moment and looks great, I can certainly see it being full to capacity theme park wise later this year and a big attendance increase. Now they just need to move the Market Square toilets to somewhere more suitable [-o< and then I'm more than happy.

Well done Chessie

I'm loving the recycled Rodeo horse :D Reminds me of a Warhammer figure.
