Just came across this mad coaster. I remember seeing the plans for it last year and thinking "nah it doesn’t look as good as G-Force as Drayton Manor” but now its built it looks amazingly good fun I think.

It’s basically an extended version of the sky wheel as far as I can see but looks extremely fun.

If only Maurer Sohne could make the seats more pleasant then these coasters would be 10 times better. G-Force at Drayton Manor has a great layout but due to the lap bars, after the lift hill most people towards the back of the car are pinned so tightly to their seats they can’t enjoy the ride. I don’t know if they have updated the seats yet but if not then the speed that this new coaster gets to could end up making a great coaster painful.

Take a look at the video of this coaster in action. :D

Looks ace! One thing though, how do the riders get out once it's finished? Does the car get lowered down the vertical lift?

:?

Yer as far as I can see from other videos, it actually does two laps and then it shoots up the lift hill again, stops half way and then after a few seconds lowers back into the station.

Love the roar that these coasters make as well

I thought the lapbars on gforce were great!

You may have ridden closer to the front when you rode then. But you hear allot of people complaining when they are seated towards the back that it was either very uncomfortable or they had trouble breathing. I know ive ridden G-Force front row a few times now and it's one of my favourite coasters but when I ride towards the back it’s a different story all together.

Without any Advertising the Parque de Attraktiones de Madrid get a new Coaster.
Which Company is unclear, but the rumours say its Maurer Söhne but for me it looks maybe like Mack Junior coaster.

Edit: As CF1 pointed out below, I've epic failed, ignore this post.

Did this park run into major financial difficulties after opening? They opened in 2002 with four major coasters, and have failed to add anything since since a Mack YoungSTAR.

And it seems they're adding another kiddy coaster (presumably not a YoungSTAR?) Can they not afford to any any new adult coasters? A Maurer Söhne spinning coaster would seem to confirm this...

You mean Parque Warner, this is Parque de Attraktiones.

But what is wrong with Warner is a good question, Parque Reunidos put a lot of Money into Mirabilandia, but nothing in there Number one Themepark in Spain.
I dont understand why.

To me it looks similar to the Gerstlauer family coaster at Duinrell.

That track screams Gerstlauer to me. It's got the thicker running rails. Maurer tend to have slightly smaller rails than the norm as their trains are lighter.

I've been browsing for a bit. Dont think its Mack, doesn't match their tracky style for spinners of YoungSTAR, and whilst it IS similar to the track on the Gerst at Duinrell, its not indenticle.

omg, Intamin megalite!

I think this might be an Intamin Family Freefall Drop rollercoaster  :)

If so Intamin's got its second freefall drop coaster!

Intamin have another Supports.
Gerstlauers Supports go into the Fundament

Mack Supports go to the Fundament.

I dont guarantee anything, everything is possible, but the Chance for 'Mack is really high.

May it be Mack!

I doubt it is Intamin as they are really into the box supports now.

I'd imagine either Gerstlauer or Mack.

I'm thinking Mack. It's not Gerstlauer or Vekoma track; it's the same track Intamin use (as shown by the way the pieces are fitted), yet it's not Intamin supports, so I'm thinking Mack.
