I'm 50/50 on thinking if the ride is going to open tomorrow! Yes your all saying staff told you, yet staff and builders have all told us that "the smiler will be opening tomorrow" some even before the orginal date, some still saying it was going to open on the 23rd even when Alton confirmed it wasn't and many during the week from then too now, I don't realise how this is different. Then fences may becoming down but that dosent mean much, the simer fences are enough now seeming it almost, well completely finished the queue but this inside and tidy up may still be needed. And who know whats left trim sure there is more. Finishing details ect...
Now I'm not saying I don't believe it is going to open I'm just saying dont get your hopes too high! Remember how last minute the last delay was?
Anyway I'm so sad I'm still on my two week term holiday tomorrow, but I can't make it down as I can't drive... Lift anyone? haha. Anyway I think the earliest I can get down is with my school! Bunch of roller coaster novices who will drive me crazy as they always do haha, they never appreciate rides :-/ anyway that's trip is in JULY!!! I can't hold out that long need to find away to get down sooner haha anyway lets see Ann give Alton a good old telling off

Finally back home after two great days on park.

I imagine all the exciting developments from today have been posted well before this (curse my horrific phone signal!), like the queue board update, all fencing removed, etc., so I'll just leave you with this assessment:

Bar a few finishing touches that they may well have finished today, this beast is ready to go. Tomorrow is likely, and I really don't see it opening any later than Sunday. I envy all of you who are going to be there, while I rapidly book another trip as soon as the rope on this thing is dropped.

Oh well..its been confirmed that Alton Towers will not give an exact date when the smiler will open.comfirmed on watchdog.. Absolutly gutted
