I would imagine that B&M are working on a 4D version of their Wingrider, that may have been coming to AT but is not ready. (Speculation)
The Smiler looks like one hell of a second option! I am not sure that the lift hills are in a field fully assembled though, that makes no sense to me?!

Here ya go buddy, it actually had a support in it too. It is on the left of the path near the toilet block, apparently the support stretched right across the path.JonoD wrote: Those pics are incredible Many thanks Roodle! I also recall you saying about an incorrectly placed footer. If you can, can you point that one out?

Thats funny just seeing a support missing a 'leg'
So the roof 'shedding' wasn't supposed to happen but they had to do it in the end? How did they place a footer so wrongly?roodlesnouter wrote: 8. As well as the chopped toilet roof mistake, an actual footer was placed wrong. Photo below.
Also, cheers for the pictures Roodlesnouter

This day has been amazing for updates, very exciting! Anyone else look at the pictures and realise it's like roller coaster pornography? ha!

I want them to revise the old woodie 2005 plans but see if they can pass it with Rocky Mountain Construction Hybrid! Less noise than a standard woodie and steel topped track for that smoothness that AT would be looking for.Jevaaaans wrote: I know it's pretty off topic but is this source basically telling us the next SW (whether keeping the same codename or not) will be a new B&M? That's exciting
These tidbits of information are really intreging on the most part aren't they!
Anyway Smiler is not even complete yet! I think they will construct the lift hills and bunny hops next!

To have something as complex as this ride, a few hiccups were bound to happen lolRollercoasters4Life wrote:

Also I'm so glad this SW was picked rather than air car park. X sector needed this and the black hole tent needed to go. It's not just the coaster but the back story and everything. I love it.
So is track rumored to be complete by 31st March? That means we could be seeing trains within the next 2 weeks. Testing would start just after. I'm getting so excited now!

I feel the smiler have a little inline twist before the cobra roll!

They made this short of notice because B&M couldn't If this is a short notice rollercoaster then what would a ride like this be if it was to be properly planned and situated in the Air car park! The ride looks incredible! Got to say though it doesn't look as congested as I thought it would have been with track and supports although there is alot of steel in some of those pictures
I think AT have done well and finally given the enthusiasts what they want Hopefully this will put AT even further up the map as one of the best theme parks!

Yeah the one above with the promo image is what I'm looking at Just isn't as congested as I expected, thought it would have been worse than that! The picture is brilliant though, will be so amazing watching the trains go around the track!Phild94 wrote:I'm not sure if you're looking at the same pictures as me.... all i see is steel and conjested trackD-Man wrote: They made this short of notice because B&M couldn't If this is a short notice rollercoaster then what would a ride like this be if it was to be properly planned and situated in the Air car park! Matthew - I was just thinking exactly the same thing re the promo image and that photo..... amazing amount of twisted track. I really cant wait to spend my birthday weekend up there in July.MatthewR1990 wrote:

If the track is done by next Sunday then surely the marmaliser will be up soon after..... Also with the test runs surely they will have to be testing whatever special effects they have.
