anybody else find it odd how the old BH queue line shelters have not been demolished yet?
it would seem like they are working around them, without any intention of demolishing them

I'm pretty sure they will do, it'll be pretty cool if they do as well.
im sure they will, just seemed odd that they have ripped up the pathway inside them, but not removed them would have thought it would be easier to remove them before taking up the pathway?
Closeup of one of the queue line huts. If theyre going to reuse this then they need to give it some TLC
Close up of new prefab building, possably a sub station.
View from toilets - what you cant really see is they have uncovered the old car track and it looks like they are currently distroying that. You can see this far better from the top of Oblivion
They don't look like there in a rush to get the site leveled ready for footers. Not a lot been done really in the space of just over 3 months. 8 months to go.
I was there on Monday, and it looked like they were clearing one of the old queueline huts. Well at least that's what I saw in the 2 seconds at the top of oblivion I did get some pictures but they didn't come out very well because I was using my phone and the sun was causing glare.
How do you know that THIS is not the finished attraction? I mean you see all that stuff on the council website but how can you be sure? This is totaly it, inspired by digger land.
(p.s I think landscaping will happen before anchors)

Have a look at my space themed dark ride concept: http://mattsdesigns.webs.com/space.html All of my Themepark ideas, here & on the website are free to use by anyone.
it's actually just not been dismantled. it's part of the Black Hole Tent, and there is a building at the base of it. I'm not sure what the building was for, but i'm sure its was probably electrical/pneumatic systems. why it's been left however is anybody's guess
fantastic stuff are there any more piccys, it would be good to get another perspective of exactly where on the site that hole is. really glad to see some proper groundwork going on now
I don't think much more will happen untill closed season, maybe the general landscaping and concrete but that's about it, the coaster itself will go up pretty quick.. It's just a pain that we won't be able to see what's going on in closed season.
