How would that make any sense?
Just though it would have looked good up there considering they've put the corkscrews loops up there and it would improve the park entrance

I disagree entirely! The corkscrew works because it's both iconic and makes sense out of context, it's part of a roller coaster. The Black Hole entrance is neither iconic nor would make any sense out of context.

But used an individual piece just to add life to something, that's not as bad an idea as your making out, go easy on him. Not saying that it should go there mind you but still. As far as iconic goes, I'm sure there are many that might disagree with you, I myself don't see it as iconic but doesn't mean that it isn't.

It's themed to X-Sector... if it goes anywhere, it should stay down there...

Apart from the Corkscrew, one of the most iconic rides that AT never kept any part of that would have been a little easier to find a place for would have been a Swan Boat!  I think we may be getting iconic and nostalgia confused!! I would not really call the tent iconic, but it stirs up many happy memories of queuing for the BH back in the 90's!

Was at AT today and snapped some photos. Not much has changed on site, just some tree cutting.

I'm fairly new and still haven't got the hang of embedding.  :-s
Also when I was at the park today, by sonic where there are those boards either side of the path, they where doing some tree cutting. It seems too far away to be an entrance place for SW7. Do they sometimes just carry out tree work for safety and stuff?

whats that circle thing next to the arcade machine ist it bh themeing
Longy

I believe the gap in the trees is the new maintenance road.

As for the big circle, it is probably a piece of theming, or part of the central structure of the tent.

All those years, we knew nothing of that hidden shed.

Do you not mean Smile and Wave boys ( said in the voice of the penguins from Madagascar :D)

Anyway, it's going to be rather strange walking into X Sector and not being greeted by a massive blue tent now :(
nemesismad

I was at the resort on Tuesday 8th may when i spotted some workers taking down trees and having a little clean up, they were situated to the right of the SW7 construction site in the woods. This could be nothing but a little general work ongoing in the park as general upkeep, but as it was so close to the new ride area i figured i'd do a video and show you lot what exactly was happening, you can then make up your own mind on weather or not this was SW7 related or just normal routine. I thought maybe the workers were clearing out trees and making a path for easy entrance for trucks, diggers or maybe even track storage ( doubt the track storage but it's a thought, track will be elsewhere i think). I'am no sure where exactly the x sector ecntrance is but with submission & enterprise staying in the area for 2012 during construction maybe theyre planning another way in, as i say i really don't no and just thought it'd be nice to share. Seemed awfully close to the site to just be general work !!!

If those were the sheds on the site still where they are then they could probably be making room for part of the station or theme pieces, or just some general cleanup like what nemesismad said earlier. :)
It's been a while.

Despite how funny your observation is, I can't help but wonder why you're even looking down there?

erm...  no lol in all honesty I was looking at the chair behind him and wondered why and how it was there. I can't imagine a place for such a chair when the black hole was there. And it's a funny chair to bring into the park right?
