What would you do if it was B&M or better quality? :P
A lap bar Gerstlauer suits me fine. A B&M could never squeeze into that space.

I'm ready for many backlash here but i hate lao bars,I find them very uncomfurtable on multi-inversion rides and feel that would ruin the hole of the new sw.

Which inverting coasters with lap bar only have you been on?

Blue Fire, for example, is the comfiest coaster in existance!

flight of fear is the only one ive been one and felt it to be very uncomfortable although it may just be that one. I am going to hold my judgement until next season

And according to a TPR video I've see. The lap bars on dare devil dive are really comfy as well. And that's gerstlaurer.

Hoping for lap bars.

Not putting lap bars on this would be a mistake for the Towers at this point...
I used to think I knew a lot about coasters, but then I joined this forum.

Lap bars would be incredible.

Do it, Alton.

tbh I would prefere the new duct tape restraint system, Sure it makes the throughput worse, but the experience is worth it.

Lapbars would be sensational, I agree.  :D
Does anyone know what input Wardley & the winner of the Greatest Ride competition have had on this?
Keep on whistlin', folks.

I find super glue to be a more comfortable, reliable restraint system

In all honesty I'd prefer OHR's to Lap Bars.

Lap Bars are for airtime coasters.

After the TH13TEEN sham, i can see Wardley having lots of input and overseeing the whole project.

As for the winner, Who knows. Not much me thinks

Lapbars all the way!
Blaze

Can we not just use the power of prayer as a restraint system?

I prefer the old school 'hang on tight!' method of restraint.

[/quote]Ugh, Th13teen was NOT a sham. The ride itself is a good, solid addition to Alton's lineup - it was just marketed wrongly which led to many people being disappointed. The ride system is good and it is a fun ride overall!

Candy Holland is in charge of the project, as she was with Th13teen - Wardley hangs around for some things, but he handed over the reigns a while back now.
