Liseberg 21-22 June 2014

Hi all,

Further to some discussion at this weekend's event, a few of the team have booked a weekend trip to Liseberg to ride Helix and the rest of the awesome coasters, and we'd like to extend the invitation to you guys.

This ride looks like one of the best in the world. I have done Blue Fire in Germany and Manta in Cali and absolutely love this coaster type - and this looks twice as good.

Here's the details if anyone else would like to join.

hey. really hope me and laura can make this. got the time off work just trying to find the money now. the only problem is that as we are finding the money the prices are going up. how far is the hotel from the airport?

There's a shuttle bus from the airport to the city - minimal charge I believe.

The shuttle bus from airport to the city costs approximately £12.50/person for a return ticket.

The hotel above is literally across the road from Liseberg, but it's worth noting that there are cheaper hotels slightly further afield for those on a tight budget.

Unfortunately I've been roped into going to a family members birthday party so I can't go to Liseberg anymore... I'm absolutely gutted!

Yeah, the passport office can even do a two week turnaround if you don't want to pay the same day rate.

this is really hard to get a flight now. we are gonna have to get 2 different airlines there and back.

*edit* booked the flights woohoo excited now. sweden here we come.
is everone getting the 5.30 flight back as we are getting a 10pm flight back.

Getting the earlier flight back as it really is a one day park being open until 11pm.

Will do some sightseeing on the Sunday, then leaves enough time to get home not to be knackered for work on Monday.

Who will be around on the Friday evening in Stanstead?

Laura, everyone I've spoken to is buying online this week and including helix, balder and lisebergbanen as the complimentary fastrack. A few, including myself, intend to do the scare attraction but don't be paying until on the day as it's easier to plan.
