Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet!
CBeebies Land has had extensive TLC this year, all characters repainted, queue lines repainted, rooftops cleaned, flags replaced and more!

Here's a new video showcasing the improvements made to what is now known as "Cuckoo Cars Driving School!" and it features the sheep!

Quite a few updates today it would seem. The Blade supports look good in black. Nice to see TLC in Cbeebies and the corkscrew looks so good too.

I have to say I'm very impressed with the amount of work we've seen from the TLC account over the closed season.

Looking forward to seeing it all in person in a couple of weeks.

I thought that because this was the second year of TLC, a good chunk would be done this closed season which I am happy with! :)

Loving how much detail some of these refurbs are going into, but with stuff like the driving school I do wonder how it's needed to be down for a year just for a repaint and retheme.

I just hope this continues past the 3 years planned TLC. Its all well and good refreshing and fixing things but areas will return to a poor state if not maintained.

Agreed, a lot of this work was seriously overdue. Nemesis has been in need of serious aesthetic maintenance for the best part of 10 years, and most of the other stuff should just be routine anyway.

Hopefully management acknowledge what a difference this all makes to the guest experience and continue it long term.

This. It shouldve been ongoing for every off season like most other parks

Don't forget to mention the "TLC" in feed back this year so the out of touch apes at Merlin can see that it makes people spend more money...?
It makes sense to them so go with it!

Also I like what they did to cbeebies land...I'll give it until opening day...

I also agree about the TLC project and that it is kept up to maintain a nice appearance around the park. The other thing that occured to me is that sometimes the visiting public (not everyone mind you but some) create extra issues by graffiti on fences or other types of wear and tear which isn't very nice especially as they are visiting someone else's property. Hopefully Merlin will keep an eye on these things :)

At the end of the day, TLC is great and is doing the park a huge favour, especially since this park level of care wasn't this high before the incident. I just want note here, after my 2014 visit, I was quite disappointed with the park because i found it very 'dated' (exact word i remember using then). From a review I heard, hex sounds a lot better and the nemesis repaint was certainly something interesting. However, at the same time, the majority of the work could have been done in the closed season, without the needs to close rides or make a big deal of it. This only makes me become more impressed with Thorpe's tlc (it actually works 'Thorpe Loving Care'), especially when the work, in some areas like improving the entrance/ dome is something 'extra' that may not have been necessary. Therefore, my overall verdict with the entire towers loving care project is that it has improved the park but needs to still occur after the project ends, in order to make a magical resort come to life! :D
