Heard rumours that you may have got splattered with Fake blood/Slime. Was that true?
It depends on the individual. The only way I can describe it is the actors have a coating of blood on them and they'll react to you being visually seen moving and or creating loud noises etc.

If you think of a bat and how they use sound to find stuff. The game plays out sort of like that, you'll only get touched with blood (marking you down losing you points) if your careless about your stealth around the maze. Its kind of tactical in a way, the way the actors interact with guests seems to be only in certain scenario for the majority of the game. Then you do a run through of the maze as normal.

Just a quick question, are Towers2 tickets available during Scarefest and if so, does anyone know how much they are for next day return?

Yes, next day tickets are £10 (same as rest of the season, excluding Fireworks).

Don't know if anyone knew but there was an actor at the end of thirteen before you get off the trains.

A few of the wraith actors have been seen queuing for Th13teen so wouldn't surprise me to see one lurking around.

I had my last visit to Scarefest this year last Friday :(, everything this year has been so amazing and after the year the park has had its nice to see it ending on a high! The future is looking good!

Andrew Georgiades aka "Mr Scare Room" went to AT Scarefest recently, did two runs through of each and extreme ToTT and offers his views: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Not sure if its something else but at the end of the video is kind of like a teaser of an ultimate sleepover again for 2016, whether that was filmed prior to this years Scarefest or if he has some insider knowledge I don't know.

For Molly Crowe should it return the end finale could even use something like the Blood Walls seen in the promo video below. You could have the minister performing the exorcism, Molly splatters blood all up the wall/writes something. Then the lights go out, the floor shakes and the rest you should know.

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It seems that due to very high demand the scare mazes will open an hour earlier at 12:00 on Saturday 31st October.

Any one else find Scarefest incredibly quiet this year?

Quieter than previous years for sure however it was to be expected. Some people are not coming due to the incident earlier in the year and some people will only visit once The Smiler re-opens.

Its been a successful event I feel with a complete overhaul and its paid off imo, everyone seems to be impressed by what the team have done this year.

I did Scarefest yesterday, it was fairly busy, not too bad but it was nice to see. I did Terror of The Towers, I can't lie I was let down by it slightly. But the main thing I want to comment on is how great Rita seemed yesterday, I haven't been on it since May, but yesterday she was flying round and the airtime was amazing. Over all a pretty good day, let down by the scare zones too, but wasn't really expecting much from them.

I was there on Tuesday, and I must admit it was pretty quiet, longest queue we had was half an hour for thirteen, and that was in the dark.
The best scarefest I've ever been too. TOTT was really good, better than I expected, it's the first year I'd done it but the strobe maze was brilliant and there was plenty of actors and jump scares.
Molly Crowe I found disappointing. I really didn't feel the need for the hoods and thought it really took away from the experience, even the end scene was rushed and poorly themed.

Sub species the end games was magnificent, absolutely amazing. The man told us 50 people be escorted out that day and I think that just shows how intense it is. Unpredictable, scary, amazing. Never had so much adrenaline in a scaremaze and for someone claustrophobic and who hates being alone, it was still brilliant.

The scare zones? A let down if I'm honest, nox infernos was the best, and the actors even had a photo with us at the end of the night! Acting was amazing, and the lighting was pretty good too however it was full of idiots trying to get in actors faces and making a joke out of it, took away from the experience to be honest.

Overall, a scarefest I won't forget.

I think the scare zones were ok having 2 younger kids with us I think the balance was good as they were too old for patch's scare school and too young for the mazes, but gave them a taste of what's to come when the older.

I think Dark Apocalypse was the stronger zone. It just felt more interactive, and they managed to get round to everyone. I walked around some of the actors in Nox Infernus and they really didn't do a lot. The creatures on the jumpy leg things (forgot what they're called) where brilliant though, but still nothing on the chainsaw in Dark Apocalypse.

The best part of the scare zones was probably the bald guy with face paint in Nox Infernus for me, but wasn't nothing really made me jump apart from a wraith hidden behind the pillar at the thirteen entrance, who jumped out shouting boo really loudly, that was the biggest jump I got, but someone definitely hit a wraith as a normal staff member went up to the guy and made him say sorry to the wraith.
