What's your favourite rollercoaster element and where have you ridden it ?
Personally I love the quad heartline roll on Colossus but a Pretzel Roll is something pretty special too.

I love Dragon Khan's second inversion - a Dive Loop.

I think it looks amazing and the way the train twists its way round is great. :D

There's quite a few I can think of but one of my favourites is the first helix on Nemesis - very exciting! :D

I like Trim Brakes, I like the surprise of them.

I also love Air's in-line twist.

Naturally Maverick wipes the floor clean on any other roller coaster out there when it comes to pioneering elements :D In my opinion anyway! From the lsm lift, to the lsm launch, all the twists, turns and over banked corners etc. But I particularly like the over banked dodgy half inverting turn (don’t have a clue what it’s called).

Image

Just suits the theme of Maverick so well, almost like the trains kicking to the side or bucking! Mmm <3, some videos of the element: 1st Video Can be seen at 1.26, 2.40 & 4.11 in the video. 2nd video Can be seen at 3.36 & 3.59 on that video! Enjoy :W

Other than that, I have a great passion for classic elements like a simple corkscrew:

The Immelman is the most beautiful coaster element for me.

My favourite is the batwing on Montu though.

I find these pretzel loops are beautiful, like on Moonsault Scramble

I think inverted top hats are cool too, seen here on the left.

Image

They would look great if it wasn't for the nasty mess of lattice work going on on that ride...

Loops don't do it for me, really. Anyone else find that?

Loops are just boring.

I mean, if you're gonna go upside down, it may as well be in style...

It's an In-Line twist that element a Zero G is similar but combines with an airtime hill. ;)

Incidentally Zero-G's are what I crave, Nemmies over the station being the single greatest Inversion I have encountered. Shockwaves Zero-G is also an amazing element.

I do have a soft spot for Colossus's final In-Line as it's so near to the ground ^^

My favorite one is the Nemesis Zero-G-Roll its like the coolest element ever. I do also like Colossus's heartline rolls and also the launch lift hill into the Zero-G-Roll on the Incredible Hulk rollercoaster is fantastic.

My favourite elements are cobra-rolls. They're just immense and, besides Colossus, remarkably smooth. Yet I also have a soft-spot for spirals and standard launches. :)
