Am I right in thinking it's the path I mentioned sometime before that was used for staff last year running between the rapids queue bridge and the aqualand building?

Wait, will it not be open on opening Saturday!? :O

No, this sunday is Services Day, which Hex will not be open for. It will still be opening on the 25th March with the rest of the park
Ride count since the beginning of 2015: 2632!
Ride count 2021: 416!
Cred count: 167!
CCL seems very bare indeed, I have never liked the area and consider it the weakest part of the park, I feel a complete retheme is required but I can't see this happening now we have the CCL driving school
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet as the article was from a few days ago, but it seems a construction worker was injured possibly on the SW8 site, due to being run over by a dump truck.
The article from the Stoke Sentinal doesn't state that the 21 year old man was seriously injured but emergency services were called.
This photo from Instagram provides a look at the 2017 map design (although the printed map may have some differences). Although it's not possible to see details, a rather dark looking SW8 site can be seen...
Unless it is just due to the perspective of the picture, to me, it seems like the map on the left side is zoomed in or it could just be the right side is a lot more crowded (especially in Cbeebies Land). Also, it is interesting to see the hotels being rather insignificant on the map which does make that side of the map look a bit bare and empty. I do quite like the SW8 picture but I wish that the numbers were removed off the ride names. They look awful!
Edit- Just saw a picture of the map (as a map, rather than on the board) and it looks a bit different. SW8 doesn't look to be so 'dark'.
Can't quite see the point of having numbers if they're going to put the names on as well?! I'd agree the left side looks very empty. The most visually appealing map was the 2008 - 2010 style in my opinion. The current style looks more like a collage of graphics and doesn't really fit together neatly.
EDIT: Something else to note, Adventure Land is gone! Spinball is now part of The Towers area.
