Since I never take my DSLR to the park, I have to do the best I can with my compact. Here are a few that have come out rather well:
They're good, but I could do better. Hopefully one day I could have a full day to just wonder the park solely taking photos...

All mine were with a compact, wouldn't take the big daddy dlsr with me , i used a canon ixus 100 , you can get ixus 130's for £60 off ebay these days.
You cant be called "nerdy" for taking pics, were in a theme park after all

I love Alton Towers photography, especially of the Gardens. There are some great ones in this topic already. I might as well share a small selection of mine.

I am very unskilled with the technical side of things, but when editing I try not to take the easy options. It's so easy just to press a few buttons... I focus on colour balance mostly and hope to take my SLR on my next trip.
