Free stuff at the gates

Sorry if there is already a post about this.
But what free stuff have you been given at the park?
Yesterday, everyone leaving was given a box of 'Mini Morning Maximisers', a new cerial.

They've done this before several times, one of the last companies to give out free stuff was Fox with the Party Rings which I'm sure many of us took delight in taking! :P

They do this many times, I've had Fox's, coke zero. It doesn't cost Alton a penny, just the staff to hold a couple of boxes. They normally appear more often on peak days.

I wonder when they started doing this?

A few years ago at Chessie I got a bucket of sweets just as me and my friends were leaving the park. It was quite nice and we ate them on the train going home.

Mini airline style cans of Fanta on the way out last season. They were ice chilled as well, very refreshing - though certainly not worth sacrificing Oblivion's theming for

When i was last at the park in 2002 the staff where giving away fruit shoot at the gates on the way out

Basically, "We know we've ruined the rides and atmosphere with our advertising, so we hope this free sample of our products make it up to you". :P

Haribo, it's a shame because the monorail was down and nearly everyone who got some just chucked them in the bushes on the way to the car park.

I've never been given anything for free when leaving Alton Towers, but I have been given chocolate and a book about the park when leaving Chessington, and free candyfloss when leaving Pleasure Beach Blackpool.

It was all about the free mini party rings last year. They were giving them out for a free weeks, I must have had about 20 packets :P I also had some coke and coke zero last year.

If I had an annual pass, I could've lived there last year with the amount of free stuff!

I haven't been given anything this year, but I was only there on opening day.
There will probably be more stuff later in the year.

Just the MiniMax, two boxes did my cereal needs for the next week.

Other than that, the only thing I've got upon exiting a theme park was small tubs of Ice Cream when I was a nipper at Flambards.

I went while they were handing out Fanta once, they rather helpfully decided to do it right in front of the monorail station entrance so noone could actually get to the monorail thanks to the bottleneck.
