Work is currently underway in ATH to create a brand new Steak House Restaurant which will be located in the old Emperors Suite next to the Dragon Bar.
I hear you will be able to select a personal steak and even watch it being cooked.
Work on the restaurant is well underway, with a launch date hopefully some time in October.
New Steak House coming to ATH!

It's about time they expanded the food options at the hotel, and a steak house seems like a great idea. The steak I last had at Secret Garden was absolutely cracking so I hope we see more of the same here

There where some strong rumours about a third resteraunt at the hotels a while back so i'm glad they are going through with it.
I remember last year staying over and not been able to eat as the resteraunts where all full and having to travel to uttoxeter for food. What with Margs pizza pasta resteraunt and this steak house that should improve capacity a lot

This is great news I can't wait to see it.
I hope they make a good job of it cos both hotels where originally designed with just 1 restaurant, so it might look out of place. Anyone know what the theme of it is?

Sounds excellent! Always good to see more food options, and it's great to (excuse the pun) beef up the hotels a bit with new facilities and areas. Helps create more of a buzz that the hotels sometimes lack a bit!

Do you mean how we've found out about the Steak House? If so, Alton have been constructing it the past few months, job positions have come up and ATR09(person who started this topic) works for Alton(or is an insider) and confirmed this a while ago.

The actual dining room has been pretty much built since at least October. Breakfast is sometimes served in that room and I was there during Scarefest.
I've had breakfest in the suite on a number of ocassions, previously the room was very bland but now its very nicely themed and fits ATH perfectly.
