I applied online, when will they get back to me? Does anyone have any ideas? Also, I know a couple years ago, they had some sort of Alton Towers jobs fairs, locally, are they still doing this?

As far as I am aware, the local assessments that they did in a few towns won't be happening. Unless they need to!
It's just the AT assessments at the moment.

I heard the day after I applied for my interview. My brother waited about 4 days.

I have my viewing for the Mills in Leek on Wednesday :)!

I'm the same Jaycey. I need to move into the Mills, but can't go up until I move to Alton, which will be when we have our Dazzle.

Chances are they won't have any space then.

Good luck guys

I live 12miles from the park, so a local. So i dont have to put up with the hassle of finding somewhere to live! :) But if were colleagues now, i want invites around to your place lol.

Rooms at the Mills are going to go quickly, especially as more people are getting the jobs.
If you aint quick enough you will end up living with a family etc.

Well I have just spoken to a friend who viewed their place at the mills today. From what she can gather there are only 3/5 more rooms left.

So clearly they have gone very quick!

Also you have to pay £270 up front, and can move in straight away.

What I don't get is:
If you don't move in straight away do you have to pay rent on the place? Or will that start when you move in?

I aint paying for a place I aint living in! I have my viewing tomorrow!

Your £270 is two weeks rent up front and your security deposit.

Your two weeks start from when you move in. :)

Thanks for the update guys.

I want a room, but don't want a viewing, do you think I can reserve one over the phone? I'll call them tomorrow. I can't travel up there just for a viewing as I live so far away!

Still waiting for my contract too, been a week since I was told I got the job, just excited everyday to check the post to see if it's arrived.

I know a couple of people have theirs, did it take much longer than a week? Just curious. :)
