Sorry to burst this ever lasting bubble we have going on here - but I think, regardless if there is new track sitting outside the B&M HQ, it is not going to be a B&M.

Everything goes against it being that, even if Leroy has phsycic abilities.

A colour like that red could suit the theme quite well...

^No way^ Intamin or premier. The red one is a possible hyper due to the screw holes, and the other one could be an inverted one for universal singapore.

I've had a little look into this track, and it looks like the red track is for a Mega Coaster and the yellow track for a Sitting Coaster. Take a look at these two pictures:

The code MC apparently mean Mega Coaster and SC mean Sitting Coaster, these codes have been seen on other coasters.

A CoasterForce member called "CJH" has e-mailed Vekoma asking if they are the manufacturer and got this back.

CoasterForce thread

It does look like it's an official e-mail from Vekoma, but presumably this would be the response if they WERE the manufacturer and Alton had told them to keep hush. Still, I think this makes it slightly less likely it will be a Vekoma...

SCORE!

Ahhhh, this is the old TT I remember! Nice one Mods!

Right, so the customer no should give us a clue. Do we have any past pictures or records of bar codes from Altons previous B&M installations? It is the MCJ09 that needs to be deciphered.

I am still dubious about this being a B&M but a large part of me wants to believe this could be plausable! Plus it would mean that Rita would not need to be re-painted to fit in with the Theme!

Edit: As for the e-mail above, that is possibly the briefest and least proffessional reply you could get. I do think that is a fake. They would probalby write back a longer e-mail explaining that they would be unable to disclose any information regarding future projects unless they were dealing with the customer directly.

No, the e-mail address checks out, it's definately from Vekoma. See this page on Vekoma's website.

If it was a fake, why would someone spend the time creating a hoax saying it's NOT a Vekoma? Pretty dull if you ask me. Also the reply doesn't look very professional, probably because English isn't her first language so she won't be replying with complex jargon filled language we usually hear from official sources. She's also probably got more important things to do with her time than writing a long rebuttal to enthusiasts about this.
Big Dave

It is a fake, using a basic layout of email addresses why would they put towersnerd and towersalmanac inside THEIR email? They would probably say no but this is one of our new rides etc, they wouldnt paste web addresses to Alton Towers forums.

My money is that it's Mack or Intamin.

B&M at an off-chance, simply because I believe that they still may want to create smaller coasters, with an element or two. Lets face it, a drop isn't much difference to most of the mechanisms within normal coasters (transfer track etc.)

You know what? I don't think I want it to be a B&M... I wouldn't mind if it was, in fact it'd be awesome if it was, but still. As amazing as B&M are I just wanna see how AT cope with another manufacturer for a secret weapon.

Knowing B&M though they're probs now like "OMG PLZ MAKE US SW6 WE GIVE DISCOUNT LOL!" It wouldn't surprise me if they take such pride in their creations... seeing as they've all been amazing and so want another one to go on their list!

We shall see... can anyone decipher what manufacturer a ride is by supports? because they'll be the 1st to go up! :D

I'm sorry I am being very sarcastic. It probably is real and we will see a brand spanking new Vekoma go up in a few months, but I will reserve the rest of my judgement! :D

I think you're a little confused. The e-mail is FROM that e-mail address not to it, unless they have photoshopped it into that screenshot the e-mail must be from Vekoma.

Sounds like he might know the manufacturer, or maybe he just saw Wardley. He says he will have a video up at 9PM. Any other members on park today see anything?

To be honest I doubt its anything amazing. Also whats with this atmosphere that someone knows something everyone else doesnt? Just because you visit alot and know a few people doesnt mean you have all the gossip in the world about this new ride. The most likely way we will know about this ride is through a press release or people turning up on site, not through someone who is friends with a girl, whos mums, friend's, dads, dog, knows someone who works at the park.

If it isnt Vekoma, thats my 2nd guess, then Premier, then Maurer Sohne

Im gonna stick my head out and guess at Premier, its the sort of unique ride they do and if Alton are having an indoor section 'Mummy the Ride' @ Universal is damn near perfect so they'd be using that as a standard.
Kaycee

I've really warmed to the idea of it being a Mack ride after riding Blue Fire the other week. They have certainly proved they can make good thrill rides, not just 'family-thrill'. :)

Well i'm basing mine on the fact that apparently Roland Mack was at the park today.
