I had a fear of roller coasters (riding but not learning about them, I knew more facts abut roller coasters than most fans and I had only gone on 3), only last year did I break it just so I would go on Kingda ka because I was going to NY to see my uncle. I did this at AT by first going on air then running onto nemesis a few times, then finally going on Oblivion (count of 25 so far (hopefully more when I go to AT in two weeks time))
At SFGAv, I went on a day that was relatively empty, but still after an hour the queue for KK was more than 2 hours, fortunately I went on it quarter of an hour before the park opened and it was virtually walk on.
I also went on: medusa, nitro, superman, batman (not dark night, it wasn't open yet), el toro, rolling thunder and runaway train.

"The Marmalisation Process has been scientifically designed to ensure a sense of euphoria and satisfaction should be had by all... There are no, known, Long Term side effects to the Marmalisation process, however short term side effects may include: dizziness, vomiting, loss of balance, loss of limb control, feinting, wild hallucinations but most importantly Smiles!"

I have never stayed in any of the hotels on the resort.
I have not had the chance to go into a scarefest maze as yet either.

You're missing out, make sure you get to Scarefest this year!
I've never been in the Ribena Berry Bish Bash. Me and my friends unsuccessfully tried to go in it on it's opening day in 2003, but they said that we were too old. It looks like fun, and now I have a little brother so I have an excuse to go inside!

Oh, I know... my first memory was my Mum going on Oblivion. I was so scared for her.

1. I do not know where the hotels and waterpark complex is, let alone stayed in it!
2. Submission was once my favourite ride... ever... And the next day it was Enterprise...
3. At one visit to Alton Towers, we were heading straight to Nemesis when I decided we should go on Duel first. So, whilst the queue for Nemesis was getting longer, I was waiting by the door of the Haunted House waiting to go in... 8) It turned out that they hadn't started Duel properly and the safety lights were still on.

My all time favourite Towers ride is... the 4-man bob! I loved that ride and used to ride it again and again and again. Space Invader 2 was still good, but never as good as 4-man bob.
I think The Beast, Black Hole and Thunder Looper have all been massively over-rated too. I don't give a stuff that they've all gone (seems like I'm anti-Schwartzkopf there, but I generally like his rides).
Thunder Looper was awesome back in the day, but now those shuttle-loopers are a bit average (note I said over-rated, not crap)

- On my first ever ride of Hex, it made me insanely scared and put me off all big rides at AT...
- On my second attempt at riding Hex in a years' time, I ditched it at the spinning room and went straight through to the exit... I havent been on it since.
- I have yet to go on Submission, Ripsaw, anything in Old Macdonalds Farmland (never been in there :P), Heave Ho (not much of an issue, I've been on spinning boats at other parks), and any of the current rides in Cloud Cuckoo Land (I've been on Twirling Toadstool when it was Ug Swinger, just not as Twirling Toadstool).
I do plan to go on Submission, Ripsaw and go into Old Macdonalds Farmland on my next visit, and re-attempt Hex (if I can get myself through the door )

My Sister also hates Hex with a passion, she understands the concept and that she never actually goes upside down and loves the pre-shows but refuses to do the vault room, so dont worry you arent alone! Although personally I love it, for the music alone!
Submission isnt really missing anything special but its worth a punt, at least once, its rather slow and painful but an experience all the same. Ripsaw is very good on the opposite hand, and on a hot day is amazing!
I never visited McDonalds Farm for years and when I went I was so pleasently suprised with the theming, its excellent, even as an adult I appreciate how good it is and since having kids how much fun it is for them. Go and visit if only for a quick walk around, its superb (just ignore the dung heap, its dire)

- I suprisingly liked The Black Hole more then all the other Alton Towers coasters. I dont know why but it just held something magical for me. Black Hole I miss you!
- I've never ridden the squirrel nutty.
- I've also never ridden the Twirling Toadstool in its current form or as the Ug Swinger.
- My first ever Alton Towers ride that I went on was the Bone Shaker.

I have never been on Submission! (But that is because everyone on this site says that it hurts in places that it shouldn't.)

I spent 1 pound to ride the squirrel nutty ride in the February treat and trails event in 2007.

-I have never been on Nemmie, but have been on Inferno at TP.
-The only other ride I haven't been on is Ripsaw. I plan to go on these next scarefest.
I used to be terrified of Hex.
I didn't realise BH was taken out in 2005. I didn't realize Submission came in 2005, either.

Hate to correct you, but didn't Submission come in 2001, not 2005
Also, I had never been on an inverting coaster before 2006, when I went on Corkscrew for the first time (because of the headbanging). This put me off any rollercoaster that inverted for a very long time, and was only able to get back on going on them when I went to BPB last year (I went on Infusion - absolutely loved it!). Then about 3 days later I went to Alton, first ever go on Nemmie, blew Infusion to shame! Suprisingly, I went on Rita before I went on Corkscrew (only because it didnt invert )

I've not done squirrel, but I got put off going on the last time I went earlier on this year as me and my girlfriend thought we would look silly going on it. What made me laugh was when I was sitting in the bar with the garden next to it, seeing two 12 year olds taking the piss out of it while riding it. They where screaming over the little humps. It made me chuckle while supping a pint! :P I've never been down to Old Mcdonalds farm either!

The rocks by the Tunnel of Wee (between X-Sector and the Towers) are all fake!
I was shocked anyway!

Was it because the packet had the phrase "Don't Look Down" on it?
I have only been on Hex once, and puked afterwards.
I don't get a rush of Coasters, only flats for some reason.
I once broke into the empty Black Hole tent through a loose flap.
I prefer Tomb Blaster at Chessington to Duel. (Sorry )
I find Rita boring and slow.
