Some of the creatures photos show the Nemesis monster am I right?
They do certainly look like concepts of the Nemesis Monster. Plus its very similar to the picture on the old poster and photos.

As I have said about a page back, there is very little that is actually new in these concepts apart from the rides themselves.

Perhaps Bexhex would like to explain exactly what sort of panel it is she belongs to and why it has not been advertised along with the family feedback forum?
I party agree with Cooper here, it doesn't add up that ANY focus group company would let the participants take away the photos like this
http://www.rcdb.com/id1357.htm
There is a link to the only other existing Tilt Coaster in the world.
I would love to see this concept given the B&M twist
EDIT: I just noticed it was an online survey :P
Still weird they would let people freely download the images and stuff though...
I refuse to believe that Alton Towers lack the common sense to put the legal framework in place to stop these plans being distributed by any old tom male appendage or harry unless that is actually what they wanted. Moreover, Towers are renowned for precisely this sort of stunt. Do you remember during Mutiny Bay construction when towersalton gave us tantalising videos when nobody else could get close. No it's not. You're reading too much into things Mr. Cooper...

I'll read through this topic in a sec
but when I was reading the Page, I noticed this:
Surely than should be Phantasialand? or if not,. where is this Pantasialand land?
if it's already been picked up on, ignore this post
but when I was reading the Page, I noticed this:
#A member of our discussion forums kindly sent in the following concept images stating that they had picked them from an Alton Towers survey for a future ride. If they are realistic possibilities it could mark the start of a new era for the park - one of significant and immersive theming; following parks such as Pantasialand, Universal, and Disney!

just had a look at the presentation boards, somethign strikes me as being a bit fishy there, dont knwo what but i have a hunch, call it a designers intuition.
they look good, but theres somethign about it, like the obviouse reuse of oblivions concept artwork with a train form another coaster quickly photoshoped on.
i'll be watchign this one with interest thought i remain sceptical...

LMAO loving the new conspiricys over the initial posters name!
Anyway... I'm sure there was talk when we were in Europa about the UG Swingers leaving soon too! Can't see any topic about it so don't know where it came from.

Awww I was looking forward to Calvin Klein: The Ride.

The survey isn't just a random one that appears on websites occasionally. It is a professional service where it's members spend a lot of their free time answering surveys from all sorts of companies, and you get paid small amounts for doing each one.

Like i said in another topic, The 2010 plans are huge, and the area in and around ugland are going to see massive change during the 2009 season. As said also because of the high develpment in the area corkscrews future for 2009 isnt looking great, And i belive the plan is for it too leave at the end of 2008. But i had no idea about the ideas they had for the ride. I know there was a coaster and a flat, but nothing on this scale or idea. The themeing on the images looks fanstastic.
OH Dear Lord!
Happy now!!!!! ooh yes! Dark forest please! oh I'm dead excited!!
Robocoaster: Nah thanks, looks boring, and I too have heard how crap the throughput is
and also, tbh, I don't really mind where this Leak is from, as long as it is Alton and not a hoax. in my mind it doesn't really matter, it's leaked, let it lie
ooh something to follow properly!

They only specifically mention the Roboarm but I must admit the Robocoaster could be cool. Also as far as I'm aware there is no Robocoaster in existence so would be a world's first! Anyhow, I still think the roboarms look brilliant!
Thanks to Adzy for the sig & av.

well this topic has me well and truly stumped, half of me is excited, and the other half thinks it's just a hoax, there's just something not right about those pictures... also to quote the section on machines.. "crazy wild machines have bursted up" it just doesn't sound right, it's almost like a half thought out concept and the confusion has transferred into the subtext, why would you need to use the term "crazy wild" ?? the two words mean practically the same thing, i dunno...
however it would fit nicely into the JW sightings, and the dark wood theme doesn't sound to shabby

The Roboarms look a little lackluster to me. Whilst they may provide nice thrills and entertainment they do not have a great deal in the form of presence.
The robocoaster does look very interesting though, especially if it was incorporated into a dark ride.

Big shout out to you Shawn for getting a video compiled so soon‼
You always seem to be the first one with the news, how do you do it?!
The ride you mentioned, the robo-arm-coaster thingy, looks dull in my opinion. The layout looks incredibly boring and I am not sure how much the robo-cars could add to that. Maybe if it had a similar layout to X with massive drops and inversions. What happened to just making massive coaster with lots of drops, airtime hills and inversions? Also I think a lot of the appeal of the tilt coaster would be lost if it was placed in the Black Hole tent. Imagine a tilt coaster that just jutted out into the valley. From the station it was just a straight piece of track while the valley dropped away below you. Then the track just stops and you start to tip forwards looking down 200ft and plummet...
Gah, what am I saying!? I still have my heart set on the cross-valley B&M mega/woodie :P
This whole tilt thing just looks like a gimmick. I think it would suffer harshly from the law of diminishing returns. The tilting bit would get dull after the 5th or 6th time. Though probably not or the GP, we all know they would lap something like this up :P Saying that we all know how much AT are in love with gimmicks recently (flying, spinning, launched). I just hope if they built a tilt coaster it would have lasting appeal...

this all looks great but i do worry that something on this scale will make the rest of the park look pretty bad.
anyone agree?

It's from the website this time . Anyway i like the idear of the robocoaster and i think it would look great if it was themed accordingly. I'm not that keen on the roboarm though as the throughput looks bad and looks broing anyway. I am really excited now.

I know he didn't actually render the Robocoaster footage this afternoon :P
I meant just compiling the YouTube video to give us all some handy reference points

Ok i take back everything i said earlier on, i cant believe how many pages this topic has accumulated! I just wanted proof and it seems we have it although quite a few of you dont feel the pictures are legit. I have fallen in love with the dark forest pictures!! They look so mysterious
and awesome! I think they are reliable although i dont understand the upwards oblivion like everyone has said....
I think the racing and mechanical/machines look oh so tacky! but the creatures look quite similar to the dark forest. Has anyone noticed there are descriptions for machines, creatures and racers but there is no dark forest description yet all the major pictures are of dark forest theme?

I think the roboarm coaster/robocaster is just a novelty although the same could be said about the tilting roller coaster but i feel the coaster is more exciting because there is the whole sense of dropping down a valley!
I think the pictures could be from AT and just want to see our reactions. I would love this to be in gloomy wood but there is definitely not enough space. The best option is Ug land! So much free space!
This looks promising, especially if the DARK FOREST theme is chosen!!!
