Although the style of the New ATH logos I don't like much, I do sense that a whole new Re-Brand of Alton Towers is in order. The Maps, the Logos, Advertisment Campaigns and the way the Theme Park is Published and Marketed to us lot.

This is exactly what I wanted to see after the great disaster of Tussuards 2005 season, where they actually un-done a 10 years worth of Management in 1 year. Good on Merlin, and don't forget us coaster enthusiasts who helped...

Absolutely fantastic artwork, as soon as you look at it you want to visit, really looks magical and makes you just want to get back to Alton Towers as soon as possible.

The new resort logos I quite like also, although not to sure on the whole "Water Park" thing with Cariba Creek, would rather have it the other way round with Cariba Creek being in the larger text and water park being the smaller text. Apart from that it's looking not only fantastic, but magical, 2008 is looking to be a very promising and magical year.

It was a proposed Booster Bike coaster (Vekoma?) that would be themed as Broomsticks for Gloomy Wood. For some reason, probably cost, planning permission or just the pure convenience of a launched coaster, we got Rita instead.

Merlin will probably want a Re-Structuring in which the way the Theme Park is Marketed. So for whatever reason, we may not be seeing those pictures used anymore. Hopefully the newer ones can be used however in TV Promotions and Marketing Campaigns! :-D

Oooh! I really like this new way of marketing - It's the same type of format as the press-release for Mutiny Bay & Battle Galleons.

Well done Merlin! :D

Thanks for the replies. It is a shame about broom, that would have been better than rita in my opinion.

Anyway, the new ones look fantastic. I love oblivion's, but then again I am obsessed with it.

Especially like the KC one, with it's sunken and angled spiney brel hings, and the light rays. Makes it seem very tropical. It's nice

How have they managed to get the images to look so artisticly hand drawn but with a hint of realness?

all these are amazing, i epecialy like the submission one and waterpark piece above and all the resort logo's and it made me think of something, that i haven't thought in a long while ....
I can feel the magic seeping back in, epecialy with the resort piece's, but not just them all of the new images :-D

Tey do look like they were hand drawn i suppose thats why they seem so good (and i don't know you) but thats why i feel there's magic in them.
This is my last Comment or View of TTF. I\'ve had enough of all this geek stuff, Im not worrying about theming or story\'s or landscaping, smoothness or what a ride is like compared to another. To just enjoy the roller coasters as fun and adrenalin filled.
Benbrit

They put forward the idea of fun and imagination, which is what the park are selling; so they work on a marketing level, business level and an enthusiast level. :-D Which is good for every one. I just hope that this rebranding is put in place across the park, not just on the internet and brochures, otherwise it will be as ineffective as the 2005 rebranding.

The submission one was an old one, from about 2001.
However, the Oblivion one is similar.

Pretty impressive stuff, it's the sort of thing that international parks such as Europa do very well. That looks awesome though, especially the oblivion one. A step in the right direction as far as i'm concerned.
