I went a few years back, I remember it being pretty easy to find. It's on a bank just on the far side of the Swiss Cottage.LoopinLiam wrote:Has anyone got the directions to the abandoned toilet block? And if possible, provide pictures for every step of the way? Thank you!

Re: Duel: Retheme, Replace or Remove?
I went in Duel yesterday. The second grand hall monster, the tunnel and one of it's eyes, a zombie, pillar demon, half the screaming heads and more I think, they were all broken. Plus the new portraits are too bright and the lighting is just terrible. You could see the mechanisms of the bats and hea...

Footage from the 80s
Came across this the other day, some great footage in there. Particularly interesting to see Spaceboat and where it used to be.

Re: The Alton Towers Park Map
The thing I don't like about it is that you have for example the Towers pointing up at an angle, then immediately behind it is the Dungeon which doesn't. Just looks like bits of different maps quickly collaged together.

Imagine if all that money had been spent on a better tunnel and new theming features instead!

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion
Pretty sure four years is the longest a map design has ever lasted? Normally two or three. Which is a shame because it's my least favourite design they've ever had

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019
Even Doom and Sons had a better, scarier look and that was nearly 40 years ago. The giant wood fence is just so lazy and unfitting.

Is VR a threat to theme parks in the long-term?
Hi everyone! Here's a worrying thought: what if in the future, days out at a theme park cease to exist? Within the next few years, VR visuals will be indistinguishable from real life. Then there's motion simulators, which when paired with VR could perfectly recreate a real rollercoaster (minus the f...
