I had no clue that Spinball was rumoured to go. Is there some kind of source on this, if you don't mind me asking about the source.

Also, this would be amazing for Oakwood. A new signature rollercoaster for the park indeed

Re: The Future of Oblivion

Absolutely agree! I wanna see either the guy from the queue videos return or some new people come in as part of a new extended storyline based on the Don't Look Down Group that helps the main guy manipulate the public and capture them for the Oblivion experience.

Re: Alton Towers Resort Future - General Discussion

Nemesis could get overhauled! https://www.lifthillsandthrills.com/nemesis-at-alton-towers-set-for-a-major-overhaul/ big news indeed! but welcome news regardless! The ride is getting on a bit now, i always thought due to its popularity the ride would never be removed but just retracked much like Hul...

Re: The Future of Oblivion

Hearing the rumour of Nemesis getting an overhaul/re-track I'd love to see the possibility of Oblivion receive the same attention in a few years’ time, BUT... just after the tunnel, I’d love it if they added a new element like a barrel roll or something.   Back in its day, the whole world’s first v...

Re: Alton Towers Resort Future - General Discussion

Yeah that is very true. To be honest I didn't believe it but I figured this forum are the experts on trying to pick out the fake info haha.

It would be nice to see a new Alton Towers Live but probably when Covid is over and done.

Re: Alton Towers Resort Future - General Discussion

is there no way possible that a new huss top spin could be put back in Ripsaws place simply as Ripsaw 2.0? the restraints for the Suspended version look a lot more comfortable. I just think its rubbish all these flat rides have been removed over the years and nothing has really replaced them. Yeah ...

Alton Towers Resort 2022

This might be too soon to talk about it, but with The World Of David Walliams opening in 2021, it should be interesting what could the park add for 2022.

Again, it might be too soon to talk about it but it is worth starting the discussion now I guess.

Movie Park Germany have officially announced their new 2021 attraction, located inside the hall formerly occupied by Ice Age Adventure, the park's former dark ride and also the horror maze Wrong Turn, will be a new Intamin Multi Dimensional Coaster opening in Spring 2021. All the information are rev...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

A second gate at air has been a topic of conversation for many years. It was included in the long term development plan that was published about a decade ago. If it was to become a second gate I think it would have to be exclusive to certain groups such as disabled, pass holders, resort guests. If ...

Re: Oakwood

I do think that a family thrill scale GCI/Gravity Group for Oakwood would be great. Drenched replaced with some kind of elevator lift water coaster and a mining themed area, inspired by Tornado Springs, would all be amazing for the park's future.

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

Yeah I absolutely agree. I think though that when details are revealed later on (if they go ahead), they'll definitely edit scare mazes with no touching from the actors but they'll resort to jump scares and freaky appearances throughout the mazes. In terms of the mazes, I could only see Sub Species ...

Re: The Next Themed Area or Area Refurbishment

Yeah I think Gloomy Wood is up for debate. Maybe that will be SW9 and it'll have a special element or break a record for the UK, Europe or the World. Either Intamin or (dare I say) Vekoma and themed to the area.

Re: The Next Themed Area or Area Refurbishment

Now that Cloud Cuckoo Land will be transformed into The World Of David Walliams for 2021, what area is next for a retheme, major refurbishment or some kind of major new attraction? Next SW? New dark ride/flat ride/water ride and where?

Re: Djurs Sommerland

Djurs Sommerland have revealed on their Facebook page a new attraction has been pushed back to 2022 from 2021. A themed sign has appeared, but theoretically, I think if we put 2 and 2 together, this sign is on the Jungle Safari ride site, which closed in 2019. The site labelled for 2022 is also on t...

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

If all the rides operate at under half capacity (2 people per row is now 1 person per row and for 4 person per car rides and coasters turn it into 2 per car and one at each side of the coaster car or ride car) and the park capacity is reduced drastically till the end of the season then it could work...
