Re: The Future of Oblivion
A storyline is must for me. There is room to make it a bit longer too. People would say its a waste, but the more feelings and hype before the ride the scarier the better tile be.

Re: Parking garages next to main entrance?
Count me for someone who doesn't know much about this topic, but why exactly do we need a different entrance? It would be useful to explain to everyone here, but I'm just thinking; isn't the current one fine? It has Towers Street, the Corkscrew, gates, and the Monorail. It's kinda fine the way it is.

Re: Duel: Retheme, Replace or Remove?
The worst part of Duel now is the screens in the picture frames - they're so out of place, a ride like that is much better without all the screens. We need a proper new ride, hopefully not a re-theme or one with screens. As I said before, a Gloomy Wood, spooky water ride would be new and unique, and...

Re: The Future of Hex
Shame, I can't see it being around much longer. I’m not sure what is making you say that? On opening day, Hex was making some unusual noises when the drum got to a certain position during the ride sequence, and I believe it was closed on the Sunday. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an issue with...

It was closed for two days in a row when I went, they told me it would be running later that day, every day I was there. Shame, I can't see it being around much longer.

Re: Alton Towers Stargazing Pods - New for 2019
The pods are actually really nice, once you get around the fact there's less space. Granted, it’s not the best, but it’s good enough for cheap accommodation, although I'd like to see cheaper prices all around, as we paid the same amount for the pod as we could have done for an Enchanted Village lodg...

Re: Events Calendar 2019
I wish I could register, but Alton being a 4-hour drive away, I usually have to pay for overnight stays and recently having a huge holiday in America for the first time, I can't afford it. Maybe next time. About the Thorpe park one, could I use a Thorpe annual pass, or do I have to get a different ...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019
Well, I say false advertising! If this is like any other Dungeons, they should talk about the areas, that might be scary to children, and the age recommendation. It seems to be promoting the laughter in this attraction more than the scares, or the history which is not right because The Dungeons aren...

Re: Project 2020
They literally said there are no plans for anything major in the next couple of years yesterday. Why on earth are people thinking about “teasers” for a 2020 coaster? Because this is a Project 2020 page, I'm just trying to find something, that could relate to it all, although they did say that - the...

Re: Project 2020
Wait, The Swarm have a number like 7706 when it was first teased?
Near a bathroom or something? Hmm.
LC12, wasnt it?
The downside is I can't find a way to connect 2020 to 7706.

Re: Dark ride ideas
The only issue I would have if The Smiler was enclosed would be what would it look like from the outside? Surely this would cause a bit on an eyesore? Having said that, I'd imagine the things that could be done on the inside could create a truly phenomenal experience, perhaps at a Disney level, if ...

Re: The Future of Sonic Spinball
No. no, no, it should stay! It's a good fun ride - and we need more rides and not less Correct, as I am sad to see no more Sonic. Spinball Whizzer has fresh theming and is a solid family ride. I remember when I was small, but wanted to go on the big rides, the only things I could go on were Thirtee...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - The Future
Gimme a new attraction for 2019 please. Can we just replace Rumba Rapids already! I hate that ride, even more than Nemesis Inferno. It just lacks excitement for me, which in some cases is good, but you barely get wet. Mabye just add some cannons or a water fall, maybe change the theming and the old ...

So this is going to be about Alton Towers history? Couple of complaints,...

Re: The Future of Oblivion
In my opinion the whole back of the X Sector needs a bit of TLC, it's looking a bit grey ever since Submission left . I know its supposed to be retro but couldn't it be updated with more soundracks and more just emphesize that its retro, Oblivion being one of my favourites, I just think more p...

I have recently participated in an engineering Jack Petchy run challenge sponsored by Thorpe Park.
