That must increase sales, a few drinks makes the tat seem more worthwhile.
Haha, true! It's the only reason I can see for anyone buying a mini "chappie chopper" :lol

Re: New London Dungeon Finale: THE TAVERN

I wasn't aware of this change and was caught by (nice) surprise. I did notice the awful changes mentioned regarding the ticket office and green screen. Seems very odd to me to replace a money making shop with giving away a drink. Shame they can't make it like ride exits and have a combined shrek/du...

Well, I hope the rumours are false and it's operational next year cos I've finally managed to persuade my sister to come with me, and that's one if about 4 rides she's agreed to go on ](*,)

Re: The Crystal Maze - London

That is amazing, how many 80's and 90's kids would jump at the chance to do this? Now if they can also make an adult "Fun House"... They did that in a pub in Lichfield back in May of this year. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/watch-fun-house-return-pat-6011075" onclick="...

Bloodfest banquet as it was my first scare attraction back in 2003.

It depends on the ride too. Not Alton Towers, but I was at BPB last month and the grand national half killed me. That's a rough ride *vom*

Re: Scariest moments at Alton Towers

Bloodfest Banquet, as I hadn't been to anything like that before. I also may have had a little tipple in Merrie England to calm my nerves so needed to pee and the thought of having to do a walk of shame to the car was very scary :lol

Re: New London Dungeon Finale: THE TAVERN

I guess it's a permanent thing as it's replacing the gift shop. As I said they were having a huge blitz of stock during the summer. I guess they'll make more money on alcohol than pens and wax hands! Haha, that's true! I don't know when I'll be in London next but I look forward to checking this out...

I hope it's not "famous last words" but that's never happened to me. I wouldn't cope well with being stuck for an hour, those milkshakes would have to be pretty spectacular :lol

Re: New London Dungeon Finale: THE TAVERN

It's a shame they don't do that with the pub at Blackpool Dungeon. I love the idea of each table getting a unique experience.

Is this just for the Christmas season or a permanent feature, do you know?

Re: Favourite Dungeon in the UK and why?

I've been to all the UK dungeons except Warwick and Edinburgh is my favourite so far. It's the one dungeon that genuinely freaks me out in places, the Sawney Bean elements are really well done and unsettling. It doesn't help that every time I've been, it's me Sawney threatens to punch in the mouth! ...

I'm 36 now and only have to be careful because I get migraines these days. I can get those from a glass of wine or bar of chocolate though, and I won't be stopping them either!

Re: New to the forum? Introduce yourself here!

Hi, I'm Nat. I've been reading posts on here for a while, thought it was time to say hello. I love theme parks and scare attractions, don't get to go to the former very often as I don't drive and my friends are all wusses when it comes to anything more intense than the teacups! For some reason they ...
