Re: SW9
Yeah, hopefully, SW9 will be a thrill coaster, but I cannot see the height restriction for the park being changed any time soon - I am pretty sure further reasons for it being there (other than locals) is the fact the park is in the middle of the countryside and the local council has a say in that I...

Re: SW9
Thirteen is definitely not too intimidating to be a family coaster, the same could be argued with Wicker Man. Although I'd personally like a new thrill coaster, which I'm sure the majority of us do want I suppose a new family one isn't of the cards, I personally highly doubt it'll be family orientat...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Staff and Recruitment
Great video on the Alton Towers Dungeons Audition Process - hope this helps anyone with questions regarding auditions for anything Towers based, would guess they have a similar process for the majority of roles that they offer.

Re: Early Ride Time 2019 Predictions
I'm thinking Wicker Man, Oblivion, The Smiler & select rides from CBeebies Land and/or possibly Spinball Whizzer for next years line-up.
Personally, I want Wicker Man just so it gives a chance to get more rides on it.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Music and Videos
Yeah they are, the tracks called "Bestest in the Barn" I believe. That is the one I couldn't remember. To me, that is the one which screams out CBeebies purely for Ents dancing along to it one year. It actually is one of my favourite moments at Alton ever. Strangely enough, same here! Whe...

Re: Alton Towers Resort Future - General Discussion & Wishes
I'd rather they spent any extra budget on flat rides, the return of Single Rider, more street ents and TLC continued for yet another closed season. However, I do really hope Merlin give Towers more budget to play with next season, regardless of what is installed (even if it's just The Alton Towers D...

https://twitter.com/MinistryofJoy/status/1059550920181235714 If this were to be true, do you think they'd be able to use some of Galactica's VR on it if the rumours about it switching back to GalacticAIR? However I'm not at all sure about the original rumour for this either, but it'd be pretty neat...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions
So, I bought fastrack just now on the Alton Towers website and realised I've bought it for today which is obviously wrong as I need it for tomorrow. Does anybody know if I'll be able to change it on park tomorrow? I'm really hoping I can because it costs a lot! I am not too sure what can be done ab...

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion
Had an awful experience on The Smiler yesterday, and the problem seems to be apparent with a lot of the major coasters at Towers - but mainly The Smiler. Fastrack. Yesterday the advertised 50-minute queue, turned into a 130-minute wait, due to the fact that staff were sending round trains FULL of f...

Re: Fireworks
As posted on the Alton Towers social media, BOTH nights of this year's fireworks display have now SOLD OUT! And the resort have advised visitors to ONLY travel to the park WITH a pre-booked ticket. Other than that, I hope everyone has a brilliant weekend if you are attending this year's display, an...

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion
Scarefest 2018 Review Despite the sadness of the Halloween period (and almost Theme Park season) coming to a close, it doesn’t dampen this year’s Scarefest! Over the course of the event (and having Towers as my home park) I have managed 5 visits to Scarefest - as in my eyes it is definitely one of ...
