Re: Cloud Cuckoo Land Replacement
Horrible Histories would be a good fit, but it would take away from Warwick who already have the maze and shows. I am sure we'll see something completely different

Yeah, I saw it on Facebook when they released it. Such a cool video. That is some talented drone pilot. Hopefully we will see more videos like this across the Merlin coasters!

Unfortunately not, It wouldn't be available in the public domain, unless someone has recorded a copy of the announcement whilst on park.

Re: Fright Nights
The maze that looks the most interesting is Dead Creak Wood Sawmill. Hopefully, it will be a good hillbilly adventure that matches some of Thorpe's classic mazes. Not a fan of IPs for mazes and much prefer the uniqueness of in house brands

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion
I must have been lucky. I saw Freak Show, the Pirates and Galacrica Airways during my visits last year
Going back to a topic of conversation from last year concerning the graffiti on Sub Species, I must say that it has really, really grown on me this year. It certainly sets the scene

Re: Cloud Cuckoo Land Replacement
I really don't think it will be Lego. It would devalue the theme park brand so much! I think they only just get away with cross brands in the form of The Dungeons and Sealife, but to add Legoland into the mix would be detrimental to Legoland Windsor. I do think we'll see a family IP that will appeal...

I really enjoyed this event and had so much fun! :) It was really nice to speak to first time attendees, along with the regulars, and hanging out with you all! It is always good to meet like minded people! :D I really enjoyed the ERT on Rita in the morning and experiencing my most painful ride on Th...

As Jack has said, there are no Fastrack tickets as you require a payable ticket for each maze. These will be available in combo packages and one shots. Darkest Depths will be ticketed separately, along with The Attic.
Queues at Alton are well managed, so your wait should be short. Enjoy!

I believe no filming is permitted within Duel. I'm sure there is a notice at the entrance too.

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion
Hey Zac, from the footage and pictures seen then the ride has done exactly what it is designed to do. With the ride stopping on the vertical lift hill then safely being lowered to the ground then there was no danger of two trains being on the same track. The papers appear to have made a story up fro...

Re: SAW: The Ride
I think the licence is up soon, but if it was to go then Creek Woods Sawmill (as advertised as a teaser for their new Fright Nights maze) would be a good fit for the area.

It won't be Lego :P Wrong area, wrong park, wrong IP in my eyes.

Re: Cloud Cuckoo Land Replacement
Personally, I would very much doubt the area would have a Lego theme. If they were to use another IP then it would need to be one that will stand the test of time. CBeebies works well as they have different characters and brands within the area to rejuvenate attractions. Nina's Science Lab has recen...

Re: Colossus
It is hard to say exactly how you will feel as we will all react differently, however, if you've conquered all of the other rides at Thorpe Park and Alton Towers (obviously not counting The Smiler) then I am confident that you'll be absolutely fine. The heart line rolls are fun. They don't make you ...

Re: Wicker Man - General Discussion
I think we have to take everything with a pinch of salt as I've heard so many rumours too. To be honest, I think we will never know for sure, but at least Alton Towers have took the time to rectify the issue that caused the closure by closing the ride instead of opening and closing it constantly. In...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions
Hey
There are three ways...
1) Purchase tickets as part of your hotel package.
2) If you have Premium Annual Pass then you can use your 'Share the fun' vouchers.
3) Once again, with your Annual Pass, book 'Friends and Family tickets'.
Hope this helps
