Re: Legoland Windsor Resort
I visited Legoland a couple of months ago and managed to get a few rides on Flight of the Sky Lion during a Merlin Annual Pass event (which meant that the queues were very minimal). Overall I was very impressed with the whole area of the park. The storyline and theme work really well and ties the ar...

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach
One of the big changes at BPB this year is having to scan eTickets on every ride (last year eTickets were just scanned at the park entrance). Wristbands can be collected if this isn't feasible. The eTickets can be saved to Google Pay/Apple Wallet on your phone - which is handy. I found scanning the ...

Re: The Retro Squad - 2021
Has anyone else ridden the Retro Squad yet? Flat rides and I don't really go well together (I once had to go back to the hotel to recover after riding Uppswinget at Liseberg  ) so I'm probably not the best person to review them, but I did manage to get on them all on Tuesday! Personally, I tho...

Re: The World of David Walliams - *Delayed until 2021*
Yesterday, the resort announced that Gangsta Granny: The Ride and The World of David Walliams will both open on Monday 17th May. They also released some new promotional photos of the ride: https://www.towerstimes.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/GG1.jpeg https://www.towerstimes.co.uk/wp-content/uplo...

Re: Fantasy Island
It looks like Fantasy Island are getting some more rides this season - with official announcements from the park saying that they will be getting the portable spinning coaster " Spinning Racer ". https://www.facebook.com/fantasyislanduk/photos/a.147361844897/10158921824309898 The park is a...

Re: Movie Park Germany
Photos of the trains for the new coaster at Movie Park have been uploaded to the park's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MovieParkGermany/posts/3955410537837504 I didn't realise until I saw this tweet, how they are styled to look like an old tram tours ride they had - pretty neat touch! https...

Here's our POV of the best Dive Coaster (sorry Oblivion) in Europe, Valkyria. https://youtu.be/wj_lGWh2AZw Whilst I also love Valkyria, I kind-of prefer Oblivion The Black Hole (sorry! :p ) Although I really like the area that they have created with Loke, Balder and Valkyria! IMAScore has released ...

Re: Phantasialand
I managed to visit Phantasialand again last September. I've always loved Taron and how immersive the whole area is, and F.L.Y. matches it too! The number of cool details in the theming really makes the ride experience so much better! When we visited, the ride was still in 'technical rehearsal', and ...

Re: Toverland
I visited Toverland on a quiet day in 2019 and was really surprised by how nice the park was! They have some really great rides with lovely landscaping! The staff were really friendly too, and were great at letting us stay on the rides! In the end, we ride Troy 25 times, got 6 rides on the Booster B...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Music and Videos
Sorry if this has been addressed before (I'm new) but i'm wondering whether there is any Towers audios available through spotify? Or similar apps/websites? I've not been able to find them online other than youtube Unfortunately, the Alton Towers audio isn't available on Spotify/music streaming serv...

Re: New for 2021 - Fairground Flat Rides
Personally, I'm not a massive fan of the idea of fairground rides being placed in a theme park environment. However, given the unusual circumstances at the moment, I can see the idea of increasing the ride lineup temporarily - especially at a time when 'indoor attractions' cannot open. I hope that l...

Re: ScareMazing 2017 - Reviews & Feedback
Like everyone else, I had a great time at the event - a massive thanks to the team and everyone who made the event possible! The BTS on House of Monsters, Sub Species and The Welcoming were very interesting - it was great to see the mazes in a different way and having different features and concept...

Re: TT Spring Spectacular - Reviews & Feedback
Had a great day on Saturday. First access on Galactica was great and a good way of getting on it as a group (not sure an ERT would really work on it :lol ) The usual take-over of Blade is always an entertaining part of the events! The talk was really interesting - and the refreshments and pick-&...

It seems that Rollercoaster Tycoon has been ported to iOS by Frontier Developments! https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/rollercoaster-tycoon-3/id1008692660?mt=8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Unfortunately I can not download it (Android user) but it looks pretty cool! Hopefully...

Re: How do you feel about re-riding rides?
I really enjoy re-riding rides, it is great to go on the ride a few times in quick succession to get a full experience of the ride - possibly trying out a range of seats to test out the different forces on the ride. I find it is also one of the best ways to maximise the number of rides that I go on ...

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach Possible Developments
I think the park has plenty of dark rides and water rides. Ideally I'd love to see a new coaster as I think this is something that is needed to draw in the crowds. Perhaps with Amanda's relationship with Mack we could see a coaster from them? A Helix style launched coaster with inversions would fit ...

Re: Best Thorpe Park Rollercoaster
I voted for Saw becaue I really enjoy the crazy drops, and I think that the themeing of the building is really good. Stealth is a close second, as I think that is a pretty awesome launched coaster

This was my first TT event, and based on how awesome it was, I will definitely be back for more! Interesting talk about the maintenance of The Smiler - especially nice to see some of the wheels. Re: List all the themeparks you have ever been to
So far I have done:
Alton Towers
Brean Leasure Park
Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Fantasy Island
Flamingo Land
Lightwater Valley
Oakwood
Pleasureland Southport (back when it was owned by BPB)
Thorpe
I'm also planning on going to Liseberg this year (with AvidPenguin)
