Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion
Accounts for the last tax year has been recorded at a pre-tax loss £1.7 million, totalling the company losses at £54.8 million since the company was formed in 2011. Abdulla Al-Humaidi has previously confirmed he will finance the project until the end of 2020 at least, but the directors have already ...

Disappointing to see another new addition being an IP, and possibly actor led. When will they learn?

Re: Project 2020
Adding to the above, I.P 06 could well mean this will be the 6th IP attraction Thorpe add alongside Lionsgate, Angry Birds, I’m a celeb, DBGT and TWD. Just an idea

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion
I visited this weekend and unfortunately the chain was still doing that. It was my first time on the ride and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Bag drop is still an issue, batching in to the pre show is still an issue as hursty pointed out, there isn’t enough room in the station. Also, the staff w...

Re: Merlin Entertainments file a UK trademark for ‘The Alton Towers Dungeon’
I must admit I quite like the sound of this idea. Look forward to hearing more. Could this be a potential life line for Nemesis Sub-Terra I wonder? Certainly hope so!

Re: Hong Kong Disneyland
Wow, disappointing to hear that pretty much all developments have been delayed. Can’t say I’m a fan of the castle makeover either.
I just hope that we get a family coaster at DLP off the back of this

Seems a bit... random... I have no doubt that it’ll have a decent budget and they’ll make it look right, but I don’t see how it fits in at all. Disappointing.

Re: Escape Room Attractions
I have done several of Room Escape Southend’s rooms which have all be scare themed, and really enjoyable! I have also done Room Escape London which had a ‘Steal the crown jewels’ theme. Totally different experience, but just as fun. Same as Dom I have a list of different attractions around the count...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion
It seems strange that they have introduced the ‘live actor attraction’ category, but TWD:TR doesn’t include this. With it being the year of the walking dead and the new ride themed around them, surely it would be standard that we get actual walkers within the attraction? Unless they have some sort o...

Re: The Walking Dead: The Ride - New for 2018
If that’s the case, that’s pretty poor marketing on Thorpe’s behalf. Their social media campaign says: “Reckon you have what it takes to take on #TheWalkingDead Immerse yourself in The Walking Dead: The Ride only at THORPE PARK from Easter.” Easter 2018 is Sunday 1st April, so if it’ll be opening a ...
