Doesn’t let me select a date or time! How very oddDan wrote:
It should ask you to select a date but there’s no need to book a time slot.
Some of us booked one shot tickets for Mine Tours yesterday and didn’t have to book a time slot, they just checked the date was correct when we got to the maze.

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion
I’m sure it’s already been asked, what is the direct link for the Altonville Mine Tour tickets? I know P42 is altontowers.com/42 https://www.altontowers.com/mine/ Fantastic! Thought I’d tried everything! Are there no fixed time slots for this? it won’t let me select a date/time like the other 2 maz...

Re: Galactica - General Discussion
I have never understood why they haven’t split the queue entirely to VR and non-VR with a station dedicated to each half. I know batching could be an issue but it’s likely that you could use 3 trains, 2 NVR and 1 VR.

Re: Oblivion - General Discussion
Anecdote alert! I can't say this applies to the majority of the GP, however, I've always been struck how my non-enthusiast friends and family find Oblivion (front or back row!) so imposing and terrifying compared to the other rides at Towers. Oblivion's layout may be simple in comparison to newer d...

Re: 2015-2019: Possible Developments?
Penguins would be AMAZING (charismatic megafauna ftw!) but would they have enough space for a decently sized enclosure for them or Otters? I'll be honest, I've not been in Sharkbait (it's usually too full of children for me) so don't know what it's like in there. They could easily have enough room ...

Re: What do you think should replace CCL?
That is actually such a good idea guys, it would really fit into the story of the AT hotel but also in my opinion a lot of the marketing over the last 10 years (excluding new rides) have been quite steampunk-lite. A whimsical steampunk land would actually be amazing. Thanks! Let’s just hope that A...

Re: What do you think should replace CCL?
I think the Storybook land is nice, but the only recently removed a very similar concept to put in CBeebies land. Removing the Storybook work, old Macdonald etc. A really interesting theme would be to go very steampunk for CCL, loads of smoke, steam and whistles, but obviously not another dark theme...

Re: Oblivion - General Discussion
Hi long time stalker here. Quick question on Oblivion construction. Was the hole backfilled on top of those arched tunnel supports or was it just covered over with concrete, essentially leaving a void. Been having a look round but cant find any pics? Not 100% sure myself but I think the metal arche...

Re: SW9
I’ve just been thinking about the location for the next ride at AT. Obviously Air car park is a likely choice, however there is also a lot of unused space on the old flume site (the other side from Wickerman) to drop a multi-launch through the trees there would be amazing, and may even tie together ...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion
Hey guys some of you go very regularly compared to me (2/3 times a year) with Alton now implementing no single rider queues me and the mrs will now have to use the normal queue (not really into coasters but will ride some), but my question is have you seen many couples queue together then only one ...

Re: Alton Towers 2019 Addition
If AT only read one topic on this forum I hope it’s this one. FLATS, FLATS, FLATS I’ve been saying it for years, AT needs a new flat ride in ever location of the park. This will push AT to be a 2 Day excursion park rather than the 1 day it currently is. I’m not sure the average cost of flat rides bu...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion
What exactly is it overshooting? The lift hill? Surely some trim brakes before it wouldn’t impede the ride top much It’s rumoured to be overshooting the station and parking incorrectly. This would cause the ride to shut down as the control unit would think two trains are occupying the same block. T...

Re: SW9
Seeing as Spinball’s removal was in the LTDP of Towers I think it would be a great opportunity to put a large scale indoor dark ride on this side of the park, providing the outside wasnt garish it could prove to be a great family attraction. Something similar to Crushes Coaster at DLP or potentially...
