I'd take no hill over a hill any day, Top Thrill Dragster was much better than Kingda Ka IMO. That might be because of lap bars though

I'd like to see them kept the same but with more cleaning and restoration to stop it deteriorating any more. The glass parts where the Sanctuary queue starts could have a small cafe put in and just general restoration.

Could a B&M hyper work as a launch? It sounds like it wouldn't but if it launched out of Forbidden Valley and then across to Dark Forest in a hyper coaster way with airtime hills it might I guess, still extremely unlikely anyway.

The maze is good but there are too many hold ups and that increased the queue. When I did it, there weren't that many people in the queue, about 50 maybe, and it was reportedly 40mins, so if lots of people want to do it when it opens, I have a feeling the queues will be awful Sent from my iPhone usi...

What about getting something like the SBNO Time Machine in the music park?

But do Alton really have the space for Cedar Point amount/type of coasters? Don't forget Cedar Point do have lots of flats as well.

What about an Intamin woodie? They are great rides and give you so much airtime. I think it would fit in better at Thorpe though as Alton can't really get a tall one. Even so, I think it could work for SW8.

It's about £45 to buy unlimited fast pass for your whole stay I think, so that is definitely worth it.

I know it would never happen but I'm hoping for an Intamin woodie, no inversions, just a smoother wooden coaster.

I did Summer Nights and it is absolutely amazing, there weren't any queues and I got on 39 rides in the three hours. On Nemesis Inferno, the queue was so short, we were allowed to stay on for as long as we wanted without even getting up. I seriously recommend going if you can.

I think it will be of a more Merlin change than just Alton Towers and it could either go really well, or really badly. I hope Merlin start to up their game and hopefully it will go well.
