Re: Th13teen - General Discussion
They did indeed open Th13teen today. The last 3 rows are filled with water dummies with the remaining rows filled with guests (with rows left empty to accommodate for distancing). This has taken a toll on the throughput capacity but still a ride that'll take a portion of the crowd on park. I believe...

Originally opening as the world's longest log flume, and later sailing past model dinosaurs, The Flume was one of @Alton Towers' most popular attractions. In 2004, the ride was re-imagined as a funky, floaty bath time ride featuring quirky, quacking ducks, culminating in a spectacular splashdown ove...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion
Yesterday I was able to make a trip to Towers for a gardens visit. A lot has been covered already but I'll go through how I felt and my own personal experience with how things went. When the park opened there was just me and 2 groups in front in the queue, the temperature check was very simple, easy...

Re: The World of David Walliams - *Delayed until 2021*
Ultimately this was the correct decision for the park, you don't want your latest attraction open when it'll only be accessible to a certain amount of people until social distancing and restrictions have been eased. Its a great shame as being Towers's 40th anniversary it is certainly a dampener, but...

Re: Th13teen - General Discussion
Anyone think Thirteen is one of the worst rides in the park? Personally no, it is a good family coaster and fills the gap of coasters for that market. It may have been advertised badly when it first opened but it does its job of being a decent capacity ride whilst also offering something different...

In 2016, the Rollercoaster Restaurant brought a decidedly Alton Towers twist to Resort dining. Unique for the UK, meals were delivered via a mini rollercoaster track, with two tables having their meals go via a loop.
